can be both. If you look at the thread we posted for our Graphtecs for Bossman,, who is using a SC cutter, you can see differences in a pro cutter and a value cutter. We showed that comparasion, As well as experience of the operator, is also a factor. This thread. http://forum.uscutter.com/index.php?/topic/42357-lease-vs-purchase/

I have my # on mine but they always ask for a card anyways. NEVER go out of the house without business cards to hand out. They are the cheapest possible for of advertising you can do and there is absolutely no reason to not have some on hand.

Usually non stain paints. Or any paint that has not been washed in the last year. mostly if they are smokers. Do not try to stick anything to a hologram. Won't do that again! Dish soap takes the wax of a car real fast. If buddy showes up with the perfect looking car, find out if he just waxed it. Vinyl will not stick. Rain-X will also stop anything from sticking to glass. More to come I am sure.

I got stopped on Lowes yesterday by somebody I did a car tag for years ago. They saw the the shirts before they even recognized me and now I have another job to do for them.

Just a heads up, the Air force symbol is copyrighted and has STRICT guidelines for use http://www.trademark.af.mil/usagerules/ Start here and look around. It has to have a stand off also, meaning nothing around it for some much space....

Thanks! I just upgraded to SignCut 1.95. Now, it doesn't see my Com 3 (which is a KeySpan), so I gotta sort that out. Once done, hopefully it'll work again. My letters are maybe an inch high. Simple, sans-serif font. The other thing happening is that my cutter loses-connection with my PC (I think). The Keyspan is the same I've used forever on Com 3, so I know it's good, but for some reason under SignCut 1.95 the cutter stops responding to the software or the keypresses to align the cutter with the registration mark under 'Settings>Calibrate', Any ideas why I am losing my cutter connection all of a sudden? I haven't changed the KeySpan driver. I am able to draw one registration mark under the calibration menu (in Signcut), but once it does that, I can't use any buttons to align the cutter, nor can I draw more marks after that. I'll see if I can get it working and refer-back to your settings. Thanks!

I used the Siser EasyWeed settings 302ºF/150°C for 10-15 seconds (I did 15 seconds), medium pressure. I waited 24 hours before first wash. It seems to work fine. The test shirts I made look great even after ~8 Wash/Dry cycles.

Yeah the vinyl will help.. And the upcut blade saves the face when cut from the back. The upcut blade cuts on the upstroke only.

I like the mdo because of the ease of finishing. The letters arenot that bad to cut just use a fine upcut blade if you are cutting from the back another tip is you can use masking tape on the cut areas to help with tearout.

I wipe everything down with adhesive remover and follow up with app fluid to neutralize it.The adhesive remover and app fluid are in my install kit all the time so just convenient for me. And yeah alcohol is cheaper, I just don't want to add more stuff to the install box. It's starting to get a little crowded in there.

Here's where I'm at so far: 1: 1/2" plywood with a super smooth panel veneer 2 sides. 2: already cut vinyl template in reverse so I can cut from the back side with the jigsaw and reduce the risk of splinters on the face. 3: Marked for mounting holes in Corel draw and the ran the sharpie on craft paper for full size template for layout on the wall. 4: Bought a gallon of red latex paint and primer in 1. I prefer enamel but I can't be sure the fumes will be gone in the time I have and this is going inside a grocery store so fumes are a no-no. Anything jump out at you that I'm missing here? Doesn't help I've felt like crap the last few days so I know my thinking is not 100% (not that it ever really was anyways).

I was fiddling with the same issue recently, where on a few letters, not every one, there was a gap. I made a few adjustments and tightened things right back up.Found the most signifigant changes with adjustments to the "Overcut" setting under the advanced settings tab. You didnt mention the size letters you were trying to cut but, I was experiencing issues with letters less than 1/4 inch tall. I have always ran the TC flat out at "800" but found that slowing it down a bit improved the performance as well. I have the Lylu TC and here are where my numbers are at for SignCut...
