SORRY, I no longer show my site on here. I actually had to report forum members for copyright infringement, of my original designs, camera photos, as well as totally copying my ads word for word, to THEIR sites and undercutting me, with my OWN ads, photos and designs.

I just ordered the one from sunie. I wrecked my truck 3 weeks ago and i just got the insurance check to get it fixed..but the check was more then enough for repairs and i had about $180 left over....using that for the hat heat press.

I buy 24" by 50' rolls of magnum .30. Most of the time I print on vinyl and put that on it . . . .I can't bring myself to risk a head strike on the vinyl and the white on the magnet isn't as bright anyways.

Bossman, if you are happy there is no reason to upgrade - and if you believe any salesman is as good of an operator as someone that does it all the time I have to disactree - that's way they sell . . . .those that can do those that can't sell . . . . . when you get that SC dialed in to where you can cut this one that Bill did on his Graphtec I bow down to you, yeh close up that reads bellaire

Make sure the carriage that goes left to right has all the wheels on track. There is something mechanically slipping with your cutter.

Just a note about potential work ---- I keep a folder in the SignBlazer files just for "proposals" which I've done. Often, especially on simple jobs, I'll go ahead and whip up a proof of their sign, and forward it to them in eMail. This gets the ball rolling, allowing them to provide design feedback and also, if they need to, show it to the people who make the final decisions on approval of their sign vendor. I rarely get turned-down on a project when I've created a preliminary mock-up.

If i sell on ebay I will make sure to point out that the china stuff is cheap and wont last long. Plus shipping takes 3 weeks.

It's not ebay or China, it's the US customers who just don't understand you get what you pay for. Educated customers = fewer sales for them. In my own minuscule way I tell everyone who mentions that crap that I'd rather see you buy from my local competition than waste your money on garbage because that's where it'll end up. In the garbage.

WIsh I could wreck my and get enough for a printer. Based on the value of mine a total loss would just about buy me 1 of those $50 printers at Walmart.

Add a couple big playing cards behind the whole thing.

I used to need flashlights and never enjoyed trying to find where the vinyl cut ended. Thank goodness I found a setting in the software that now advances the last cut forward, right to the cutting strip.

then it sounds like you don't have a good connection. If you can go serial cable or a Keyspan adapter, that is the brand name. Then it will give you a good connection. Usb to your computer from Keyspan,, then serial cable to Keyspan and to your cutter. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Tripp-Lite-USA-19HS-Keyspan-High-Speed-USB-to-Serial-Adapter-/160804080791?pt=US_USB_Cables_Hubs_Adapters&hash=item2570ab8c97

yes, cut backwards. i ALWAYS forget that. i picked up a used press for $75 a while back. dont do much with it, most for my own use, so even at that it will prob never pay for itself, but i will say it is SOOOOOOO much easier and better results than using the iron. only bad part is waiting for it to heat up to do 2-3 shirts. but still, even with that long wait, easier and faster (and again, better results) than using the iron.

I thought I'd add one more thing to the list here. I found these LED lights with a magnetic base on eBay and picked up two. They sure make a difference in being able to see. http://www.ebay.com/itm/200888572682?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 they even come with 2 plastic wire clamps to keep the wire out of the way.

bought a kafka brush and some one shot a year ago when reading a lot about it - it is still sitting unused as I got too busy with cutting and printing and life to play with it
