I just got my SC set up and decided to do a few test cuts. I wanted to make one pretty small for the carriage(2"x2") and had a skull grenade saved already (I know skulls are everywhere) But it really surprised me with how awesome it did cutting all the small teeth and lines. I cant wait to start doing more with this. The "test" text did have some drip marks under the T but SCAL didn't recognized them as being part of the letter and made them a separate cut so I just peeled them off, The camera is a friends logo for his photography.

Hi everyone, I've had my machine for a few years now. It is a pcut 630 and I have been quite happy with it. I haven't used it for some time and have recently recommissioned it. The original Chinese Artcut software wouldn't run anymore so I have installed SignBlazer and have it running the machine. The Computer is dedicated stand alone running XP. I will be looking for tips for optimal cutter settings and also vinyl application. I use the cutter for graphics on my large scale RC aircraft. Sometimes for paint masks but mostly vinyl lettering and graphics. I will post my on my latest project a 40% Slick 360 aerobatic model. Here is a pic of an earlier one I did. Rod

Ok, it's not looking good now.. Their software is a print only deal, zero design options in it. Design software goes from basic free to $3000. The Ez3D software is available for DL, but didn't do anything except look for a connected 3D printer when I tried it. If you want to play with designing in 3D with no download, https://www.tinkercad.com/ It has some functions and tools (group, scale, etc) that will be familiar to many people Below is a response I received today, and awaiting one more follow up. Hi, So our software is not actual design software. It takes a 3D file and just translates to the printer. So the software you would need is a 3D design software, specifically one that exports in .STL format (which most do). The price range will be huge, you can spend a relatively small amount on a design software or spend thousands. But for our printer all you need is one that can export into .STL and our software does the rest. Does that make sense? I would look at our software like iTunes. It can print your .STL files and also store them in a library so you can easily organize your prints, it just cannot make the .STL file. Hopefully this makes sense! You should check our the videos we have posted about our software: https://www.phoenix3dprinter.com/support.html This makes for interesting reading, and doesn't instill confidence. http://3dprintboard.com/showthread.php?5144-EZ3D-Phoenix-3D-Printer-Review The pricing has went from $399 to $699 in little over a year. I will be waiting to decide until a later date.

If you are tracing in Illustrator it wiil likely leave the open white space as an object too. Just go to your layers panel and select one of the white looking objects with the little round toggle on the right. Verify that it is an open hole in your trace and then use the select all with the same fill option and it will select them all then just hit delete and you will have them gone.

If you bought the cutter new you should of recived lxi apprentice software basically flexi starter. Learn the cutting software then download inkscape and learn it. You can purchase clipart or make your own in inkscape. Read the post in the forum and you will learn a lot. There is about anything you want to know on here.

I made a paper test run then cut one out of GS regular vinyl to be sure I liked the size and everything then finally did the actual HTV. Seams are no real big deal if you use a pillow and lots of pressure. I did step up to stretch vinyl for this one. I have another that I did last year that has a dump truck and trailer going down one arm and it came apart in the elbow after enough washings so I went with stretch and I think it will handle the abuse better. Time will tell.

Ow I design in corel, convert to curves then copy and paste into flexi. The convert to curves is because flexi handle text differentry than corel and sending without converting occasionally does some funny stuff to my letter spacing.

The EULA does not allow you to sell it, even if it's new, because you are not an authorized reseller. You might be able to give it away. A guy I know did that with his I hope you did not pay for it. You could have bought a cheap $200 backup cutter and got it for free.
