People I speak with say going to Corel Photo-paint from Adobe Photoshop is a challenge. Photoshop has a ton of plugins and extra's available. It is used by many, so documentation, tutorials and forums are abundant. The prevailing wind is that it is more advanced. There is also the industry standard thing. Much depends on what your doing. Photopaint opens much quicker than Paintshop. For simple tasks I prefer it. I work with vectors mostly so I don't have a need to created complex raster images. However I think you would be able to do most of your tasks with either tool. But you say switching from Photoshop to Corel. If you are meaning going from Photoshop to Corel Draw that is another story. It would be like going from Photoshop to Illustrator. Raster graphics users sometimes take awhile to adjust to a vector graphics environment. For example, layers are often utilized differently, and objects can have their own hierarchy that works much like a layer. I find Corel Draw superior to Illustrator, especially for my type of daily work. Don't frown! You could be getting a chance to lean a brand new tool for free. Always great to learn new skills.

I have changed almost exclusively to magnum magnetics .30 mil magnet - it doesn't get any better and no problems with it staying on like cheaper stuff and some cheaper stuff will actually weld itself to the paint if not taken off regularly like everyone should anyways. don't want to have my magnet weld to anyones doors even if they neglect them

keep on using the signblazer - it is still the best free program going - scalp was designed for cricut people to use until a lawsuit stopped that - to save the company they added other cutter support and sell it to usc to give away with new cutters - INHO still not ready for prime time and adding pro to the end of sure cuts a lot didn't make it a pro program . . . Just my 2c. tried scalp twice and didn't dig it

Yes, I found broken terminal with flash light. I touched bare end to terminal and it works perfectly. Now to solder (yikes, I can mig, tig, and stick weld very well but I can't solder to save my life) Happy I can fix without having to buy parts, sad because this is a brand new (3 months old) carriage assemble. I shouldn't break that soon if ever. I said it before if there wasn't this forum and guys like yourself to help at all kinds of crazy hours, I would have booted this cutter years ago. A machine is only as good as the support it gets. Thanks.

I went to the Post Office on Sat. to mail some packages and when I got out of my truck, I looked up and saw this. I was just dropping off mail, however I got and stood in the line until it was my turn and told the Mailman the flag was up side down. He said Oh I will go back and tell someone . He took off for the back I said thanks and left. On Sunday I had to drop off more mail and when I pulled up with my wife I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the flag still up side down. I was so mad that the US Government couldn't even take the time to correct such a problem and to leave that flag up side down for the entire Memorial Day weekend... , Not only did I get shot threw the chest, and almost give my life for my Country as others did , but being in the Vietnam War I lost many friends and brothers that were taken POW never to seen again. Just Venting ....

I just use a metal washer to trace the radius and cut with scissors. The people who set the prices on corner rounders must be on drugs to ask that much.

Anyone that sells SIHL brand, they make nice canvas. Also, Lexjet, lexjet.com If you're plan on stretching them on a frame, get the 2:1 weave, it does better for stretching.

I can't tell you what the vinyl was, as I purchased these stripes before I got into vinyl myself. I can say, though, that i painted the car with Rustoleum, gave it a couple months to breathe and then applied the stripes and cleared over the whole car. Going on three years now, but it is parked inside. The rear stripe is quite wide... Oh, and welcome to the site! Cal

I really so no practical use for one other than saying I have one. For making one off things or prototypes, man, that's a lot of cash and really what do I need prototypes of things made for anyway? If I wanted little nick nacks everywhere I could go to any garage sale and buy them by the thousands. There is like 20 of these thing within blocks of me. I have no urge to join the bandwagon. If I want something made I will make it on a lathe or mill. Much faster, and will last a heck of a lot longer. Or just buy it on Amazon. haha

Well Sammy T , Ya got a great start with the 2 posts so far It is a FULL version of SignBlazer Elements software ! ... That is what is meant . As far as a legal copy ... Why do you need to ask if it is open source after you declare it illegal If you do not know if it is open source .. Why do you question the right to distribute it It is very easy to ask questions without making accusations . You can learn more that way.. if that if the mission . IF you want to learn .. read the SignBlazer section & it explains everything . If you are just trolling ... oh well . You should try to stick around & learn .
