I use a silicone that i buy from Gemini letters it is a heavy duty construction grade silicone ....but any good 100% silicone should work. Use some strips of 3m vhb tape to hold the panels together as the silicone drys. I have done tons of signs this way and have never had a problem. This is also the method I use to attach aluminum or dia bond panels with no visable fastners.

Scarekrow, yes she saw it, and downloaded it and discovered that This manual they are referring to that they claim is for a model that is "so similar" is entirely useless. (quoted from the opening post) The 3 buttons on the LP II operate in exactly the way as those on my SC. (using a menu to navigate through the items) ---- HOWEVER, with that being said, the SC manual that's available for download on the USCUTTER support page actually features an (older) button configuration that's NOT the same as what these actual machines have on them now. So, I looked through various models' manuals in PDF format and discovered that the TC cutter instructions regarding the control panel are the same as what the LPII has. (Page 15 - 17) http://support.uscutter.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/198/43/02-tc-series-users-manual That is the correct answer to Lisa's issue.

Again..I am only 1 of hundreds of thousands that dreamt that "we" might come to a point that being independent is a challenge, along wih that I wanted only to show my work and that I could stand next to the BIG boys that are able to produce in mass commercial quantities but they lacked the quality that comes from a 1-to-1 personal touch that comes with and from everyday guys like all you "SIGN KINGS", you guys walk the walk and talk the talk and I have respect for all you guys I have spoke with and done some business with..But my heart is creative and doing what others don't do, so whether my wife lists me on ETSY or wherever I enjoy knowing my name and work is in some ones home or garage or man-cave and that's all I really expect from myself, if I make some money along the way well good for me....

You can check it for sure using a 9 volt battery. Have you made sure your cutter is grounded to the stand, if you have one? Usually static fries a Zchip. Found this from another post regarding getting Zchips on your own. "I didnt get them from US Cutter and they are ST chips so no genaric. Picked them up from my electronics supplier. Just cross referanced the numbers off the old one and good to go." Came from this thread. http://forum.uscutter.com/index.php?/topic/39468-mh871-blade-has-no-pressure/?hl=%2Bbattery+%2Btest

Is there recent paint that could still be gassing? Has the enviroment Changed? (temperture or humidity) Either of those factors could cause bubbling. Also you stated, "I kept checking for hours after making sure I had all the fluid out." Did you continue to 'squeegey' the decal for hours after installation? That (over-working the vinyl) could be a problem as well.

Agreed... Beware the "Updates". Personally, I have to have ~my own~ darn good reason to "update". I've have plenty of issues after allowing one.

Thank Y'all ForAll The Help. I Fou.d It On My Own. Live Customer Support Wouldnt Respond And Making A Call While Sitting At The Cutter In The Greenswamp Is Dang Near Impossible. The Problem Was The Long Gold Screw With The Lock Washer And Nut On The Front Right Side Of The Carriage Behind The Black Square Cover WS Extremely Loose. Tighten It An Now My Star Is Perfect.

Yep. I have known him for awhile. I think Marshall is a quaint town with all the light posts. I am gonna get up there to Fire Keepers one on these days. I was looking forward to shrimp last night There was no seafood there. Must have been waiting for tonight. Those critters sound scary..

Yep... i created a group on Facebook called Minnesota Vinyl Cutters, for those of us in Minnesota to share and post up our work and give advice and more. It's nice for us to share craigslist finds and what we are working on. Its a closed group, so only those in the business can join.

I accept no responsibility, err credit for this. Personally I think it looks a lot nicer than a rubber grommet stuck in the hole.

Since Flexistarter 8.6 v2 It has contour cutting standard. Anything before, does not have it Flexistarter 8.6 v1 does not have it. And it does not use a laser. It measures from the blade in the middle of the registration mark. and records in the software.

I don't necessarily disagree with Slice about quality but I prefer to keep Americans employed when the cost difference isn't overly prohibitive. As far as the ebay vinyl goes I have heard a couple horror stories about it but since I haven't tried it myself I guess I'll never know first hand.

K5 i put them on the outside.. If you take the cup apart it will be ruined.. The vinyl holds up well on them.. I recommend to people not to put them in the dishwasher..

Use vinyl off and be done with it. Why go thru all the work? Spray it on, eat a sandwich, Pull it off or Hit it with a pressure washer and it will all be on the ground. Simple and easy. I prefer the Reflective super strength if the substraignt can handle it. https://www.signsplusbanners.com/itemdetail.php?sku=914032-12&p=Removal+%26+Storage&c=Removal+Fluids&s=Vinyl+%26+Adhesive+OFF
