So a tough week at my house for major appliances, washing machine goes and then the dish washer (not the wife the electric one). So I thought to myself how I can customize the washing machine…hmmmm. BAM it hit me, well I will let the picture tell the story. The wife laughed and said she can’t wait to see what I have in store for the dish washer.

I'm gonna try the reset first and work from there but for $95 shipped I can use the stand and the extra blade holder if it turns into a nightmare not to mention tons of spare parts. I was honestly shocked at how low it went but like Scott said the market has gone way down on cutters. Back to 3 cutters again and was just offered a 4th, maybe it's time to go to those 10 step meetings.

That is the reason I love the store. With very few exceptions come 6 pm the door gets locked and I go home. Not saying that I wouldn't stay if needed but nce to have regular hours.

I really would pass because honestly once they've been bent even once they don't last long.

I accidentally bought 2 rolls of matte banner on clearance and I spent more time cleaning fingerprints than actually making the banner. Never again.

I just would like to say Thanks, To all of you that helped me over the few years of learning this business. If someone would of asked me 3 years ago if i would have been that far i would of told them they where crazy! But From being addicted to these forms i have learned so so so much.. even watching youtube video's now i still learn nice tricks to the trade now and then.. Like a big one i just learned the other day watching a " Vinyl Install video " Some chick.. hehe was putting vinyl onto a corno board and she used a ruler and drew on top of the tranfer tape a straight line under all the letters to know where it goes.. wow so simple but so useful and something i never thought about.. and now the last job i had i used that and it worked PERFECT .. I Guess your job goes faster the right tools you have and the right knowledge Work smarter not harder.. Awesome!! Now my Criagslist add is big hit I have been getting more and more odd jobs. The last 3 years I really only did work for people i knew i never really went out of my circle and went to do jobs for complete strangers. I think one of my problems is to much communication. I send like 5 proofs before i cut or make anything, Cause i got screwed once on a T-Shirt order I made 15 shirts for them and the FONT was not the right one.. When he emailed me i didn't have the right font and it didn't warn me that the font was missing so i printed 15 shirts and he never came and got them cause it was wrong. So I lost my ass on that one but lessened learned. Well I'm working on 2 Barber Shop Store fronts right now. Really my first customer that i really didn't know. So I just wanted to say Thanks.. I would say name but there really are to many to remember and type for that matter Thanks and God Bless!

I think Jfought has matte lam - I don't stock any - as for matte anything else after I sell off the rest of the matte banner won't have any of that either - it shows fingerprints too much - or other grime

You can turn basically any vinyl cutter into a contour cutter by purchasing Flexistarter10. The contour cutting is in the program. You do not need a laser. The program measures from the blade in the middle of the registration mark and records it in the software. You can usually find it under $130 on EBAY http://www.ebay.com/itm/FLEXI-10-Vinyl-Cutting-Plotter-Software-Dongle-Key-Contour-Cutting-USED-/390672756929?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5af5e930c1

I usually cut 2-3 feet at a time.. so then i can cut them off the plotter and then weed them while I'm cutting more

Hey there. Many people have decided that using a dedicated cheapie older computer with a serial port, and running WinXP, is the way to go. Think of it this way ---- these cutters/plotters are operating within a legacy software code environment developed in the last century (HPGL)

knock on a few doors and get your work out there - word of mouth will keep you busy once people find out you do quality work. just make sure you do quality work with quality materials

Forgot to mention, Signs365 credited me $30 towards my next order. Approx. 75% the cost of the print, before shipping. Not bad.
