until about a year ago even the cutters were 9.99 but I thought i read there was a change - I haven't ordered a cutter since then but am surprised when they can ship 4 rolls of 30" 150ft vinyl for 9.99 total - hard to beat that. I have to break the boxes down to carry them to put them away lol thats a lot of weight

we are also here to keep things civil on the forum - so feel free to vent just don't cross any lines or go against the forum rules - otherwise those of us that have been doing this for years have thick skins - if you look around the forum we hare all here to help each other and help newbies learn - - if you are here so the company will hear your complaints you are pretty out of luck. now once you found out there was no units available for pick up in washington why didn't you get a refund and go somewhere else local?

Yeah China can make and SHIP a decal cheaper than I can ship one to a neighboring state.. and we wonder why USPS is going broke.

Greetings. Just thought I'd join while I await my Titan 3 which is on back order and should be shipping this week, according to the website. Can't wait. I've been doing t-shirts using heat transfer and now looking to getting into vinyl cutting. I've been peeping around here and pick up on some great information. Keep up the great work..

if you want to invest in die cutting for large qty then get a die cut set up - otherwise you are cutting vinyl on a plotter! Die cutting Just like one of those things that grate like those that don't know a clip from a magazine!

i'm not sure what you ordered but FYI the 9.99 shipping doesn't apply to packages 70+ lbs and machinery (cutters, heatpresses, printers, etc..)

I have been modding this forum since USC had about 4 employees, total. I deal with other suppliers as well. I can tell you...nobody has any real support compared to USC. If you need a cutter, try Sign Warehouse and see what you get in the way of service. The last time I had to deal with them , I couldn't even get a tracking number from them.

This is in fact, the company/website feedback forum if I'm not mistaken. If all you want to read is posts filled with praise, sunshine and rainbows, I'm sorry to disappoint.

This place is the cheapest that I've been able to find for end caps. Been buying from them for years. http://www.monsterpackaging.com/product/extra-plastic-end-caps-1579.aspx

I have had the Titan2 since just before US Cutter first started offering it. NEVER a problem. Love it. Cuts and tracks like a dream. Dollar for dollar you get more for your money than the Graphtec with same specs and accessories. So going on 2 years now... I would buy another in a heartbeat..not that I ever expect to need to. This machine is solid and dependable.

Also go into it prepared to have some trouble. Either vinyl not sticking to some paints like easy clean, customers trying to adhere to textured walls, customer that try to apply decals that can't pour water out of their boots. So remember you will be dealing more with issues and know how you are going to deal with them. You wil end up replacing some so don't price yourself to compete with the he thousands of wall quotes on eBay coming out of China. Just food for thought

thanks you all for your suggestions, they worked. i switched to sign blazer, used the keyspan adapter and simplified the image in illustrator. i got a few maps cut out and even had time to start staining some of the orders.

Knowing SignBlazer may not be viable as time goes on with the newer versions of Windows, I bought the new VinylMaster CUT when it first was offered weeks ago by US Cutter for $30.... but just just installed & tried it out this weekend. I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of installation and use. To me, it has the feel of CorelDraw....so I was happy, happy, happy! I am sure there will be little things I don't like or it won't do... but overall it is a nice cut program. Sue2
