I'm already getting ready to move to Tennessee so I was going to sell either way but the sense of urgency has increased tremendously due to my moms health. I'm in this business for life most likely but it'll be smaller scale or maybe even out of a shop at home.

xpaperman, try running it a second time. It did that for me too, first time only found like 31 fonts, second time found 300 and some. Jburns, I like Fontview as well, but it doesn't give you an option to save a file off that you can edit and send out to someone to pick a font they like.

Well, The wife wanted to go to Iron Maiden also, so I couldn't got o Vegas cause she can't get that weekend off.. Now, I just got my Iron Maiden Tickets April 6th 2016 in Chicago!!! It's only a 7 hour drive from my house but.. we are going to fly for $80 round trip tickets you can't beat it!

I was reading a post from a gentleman yesterday that had purchased a piece of software that he was clearly been misinformed about. US Cutter should man up and refund this person's money. He asked the right question. She clearly gave him the wrong answer. The fact that she truly had not part of a clue if it would work with his cutter. Should fall on US Cutter. That's 200.00 That that man will never see back. If she can say she was misinformed that's their problem. The thing that makes this an issue is it was buyers remorse he could have downloaded it from countless pirate sites and never bothered with sending his hard earned cash. This is obviously an decent person that should have that refund. That woman represents the company. I have talked to one woman and ended up with really bad info. You made my transaction right. It wasn't software, but same circumstance. You going to lose a good customer over a little round disk? You would have ended with that 200.00 many times over. I had a man tell me a long time ago " You can sheer a sheep a hundred times, you can only skin him once".

The MH series cutters are hit or miss. I have my old one in storage that I used with no problems. I liked it so much I ordered a second one to help speed production. The second one never worked correctly and got exchanged for a Graphtec. The Graphtec cuts so fast I don't need two. Remember, don't work for free. I see people selling decals for pennies over cost every day. They drive the market price down and go out of business only to be replaced by the next fool in line. Rinse and repeat.

Use 631 and wait 3-4 weeks after painting. Paint needs time to outgas and fully cure.

Nice work! I built one very similar and it works great...true story about the regi marks though. I found that the better the hinge you start with, the less problems you'll have in the end when its crunch time. You will be able to make enough money with that one to buy a really nice one if you hustle. You can bang out quite a few single color shirts with that simple set up.

I've never used reflective htv. But I do know reflective outdoor vinyl is a bear to work with and needs a lot more pressure to cut.

You sure Hatter? I thought Corel made a plug-in for SCALP but I may have mis-read that. I know Inkscape has a plug-in for SCALP. Either way jcart the worst case is you save your file and import or re-open in SCALP so you should be good if you decide to use corel. There are other cut programs available too so you won't get cornered too bad even if you get away from SCALP (highly recommended)

I have a MH MK2 and the only issue i have had. When i bought it it was just for fun. it still is. The first 2 or 3 cuts I made had to have been sheer luck. They came out fine. Now when I got everyone said don't buy it because its broken. Small town. I use everything you guys say not to. usb cable laptop all the no no's. When mine screwed up first i got screamed at by my wife. I started reading this site. From the very begining it was never completely un boxed. the carrige was not checked st the cutter wouldn't drop. I love mine I guess I got lucky. Pleas don't take my not doing it your way as an insult. I will eventually buy a new one. Bit for now I;m happy.

Yes talking from experience. I have built a few different 1 color presses playing around and that will happen but my last one uses a full length piano hinge that has never even needed the boards to keep it straight.

I have been out of town but just got back early this morning. We ran up to Spokane WA for a large volleyball tournament. Attached is what my game day shirt had on it. Front was the top and back was the bottom. I got a lot of laughs.
