Hi, I would like to know what brand shirts do most of you guys/girls prefer? In my short time decorating (htv) apparel, I've only tried and used Gildan, Anvil and LAT for women, A4 and Augusta Sportswear. What other brands would you suggest? I get hesitant to purchase different brands because of not knowing how they are. Thanks!

i am on 2 different local facebook sales group pages. One lady on one of them posted that she has sold her RV camper for $800 to a guy on the other page, and now 1 month later, he is trying to resell the same camper for $2,000...she put up a huge drama fit and people were going crazy. I was like, well its his camper now, he can try to sell it for as much as he wants, it doesn't matter what he bought it for, its called capitalism, to make a profit. That $1.69 bottle of pop at the gas station, the station paid $0.59 for it... i guess they are making too much of profit on that pop. If i had a friend sell me a car for $500, and i turn around and sell it for $1,500 and the new owner finds out that i only paid $500 for it, yeah he might get mad, but WHAT I PAID FOR IT, is NONE of his concern. Do you tell people what you paid for your roll of vinyl? 24"x30' roll of 651 is about $27...so lets round that to an even $30. $30 for 30' is $1 a foot. I just sold 3 decals, 8"x 22" So i used 24" of it, 2 feet, so i used $2 worth of vinyl. Sold for $25. WOW.

Looking at the device manager images you've posted above, it does not look as though MS has picked up the drivers for the Keyspan. While I'm not familiar with Tripp-lite, I do know that most USB to Serial adapters still require a driver to work properly.

Same for the folks that can connect their mom/dads/sisters/uncles computer to AOL and the Interwebz...all of a sudden they are computer engineers and web programmers.

Same goes with cameras. Everyone that spends a few hundred on a camera is all of the sudden a professional photographer.

QUOTE>"...you don't wan't to recreate in Photoshop, it would still be raster." Sorry bevins... gotta call you on that one. Though Photoshop's notoriety is through it's excellence in pixel based image work, it is certainly vector capable. I create and/or trace and redraw Vector (paths) in Photoshop all the time then File>Export>Paths to Illustrator as a .ai vector. Most people don't realize (or use) the vector capabilities of Ps. ... and one of the most intuitive Pen tools out there, IMO.

see - researching and not relying on a salesman is key - you learn a lot more about the right things and what fits your specific needs. as for roland not coming off the list price I think there is a reason they don't have to. they have a reputation of being rock solid and parts being available for a long time. glad you found your fit! I ordered the encoder strip and sensor the last winter and got it right in for the sp300v direct from a roland authorized repair center and had it in a couple of days (even though they are available thru third party as after market I keep mine all original - hopefully someone can share similar news on a HP that is over a year old

Try this -- UNINSTALL SBE and then restart your computer. Then, put this version of the program back onto your computer --- http://support.uscutter.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/GetAttachment/190/24198 (should take only a few minutes, easy peasy). Let us know what transpires.

OP is using SCAL. Not Corel. In SCALP, the equivalent of wireframe is "Show outlines only", I believe.

You could save as a 'vDoc' (Vm's native format) and open it at your other (cutting) station with the activated version of Vm then Save as> a .plt file and cut from there.

If grommets don't hold I don't think anything will hold. I've got ratchet straps holding banners up and they've held up well.

Congrats!!! Feels good to have your work around the country. I actually have a list of states where at least one of my shirts have been delivered to. My goal is to have at least one in every state.

Yep. From the description on the website --- LicensingWhile cutting with VinylMaster Cut is limited to one user, use of the software is available to unlimited users. Your design team...and vinyl cutter specialist can all collaborate using one license and send the cutting file to the computer connected to your cutter when it's time to actually cut the job. This allows you to design and work from any location.

I don't get it either, they signed up August 2009, and haven't learned the basics in 6 years.? .. My opinion, they don't want to learn it.. They want everybody to do it for them... and as they stated they want it "done asap" "Quickly" That sounds like hop. hop, forum members, do my job for me..!!! And it has been posted over and over and over, you do not vectorize text. only as a last resort. No where did they ask HOW to do it...just get it done "asap" "Quickly"

It's generally recommended to use paper tape for wet install. I'm glad plastic tape is working for you. I saw a installer using plastic tape a few days ago and it was comical. It didn't help that he was wet installing 641. He had adhesive everywhere.
