Made this for a friend. Was originally just going to do the logo but I thought it'd look even better if I could put his bike on it. Wasn't sure how well the bike would look fully etched and lit so I made the bike vinyl and etched the edge so that it would have a halo type glow when on. I think it came out really well and looks even better in person.

If you have the bankroll to buy a whole mess of full length vinyl I would upgrade your cutter instead. The cutter will pay you back.

I mean no disrespect but you're asking about a bulk discount to save a couple bucks on a large order but in reality you could cut that order in half (or more) and use that money for things that will yield a much bigger gain than having a color on hand would...like marketing yourself or getting your business set up with tax I'd etc I get the idea that you feel like you need to have every color available just in case but in reality you don't. Sell yourself, sell the job, collect the money up front, order the material you don't have on hand, make a customer happy. If you give your customers the impression you're 3-5 days out due to the workload I think that looks better than having no jobs in the pipe. Just my .02

Hi my name is hunter and i just got into the decal game here in northern NJ. I bought my cutter about two months ago and have been slowly getting jobs for friends, family, and others who i have networked with. i found the forum when i purchased my US Cutter MH series 32" cutter. Since i purchased my cutter i have added a small 8x10 t-shirt press to my tool arsenal and have been slowly developing a web page. I look foward to learning and growing along side the members of this forum.

Here are the latest t-shirts I cut. The weeding wasn't that bad and EasyWeed was amazing as always. The electric green really pops in person.

Actually it is more work to do an Etsy claim against a seller.. You have to mail everything in, with your proof, and their ads, to their offices in New York, and sign a penalty for perjury affidavit...I went thru that with a seller on Etsy, who was also a UScutter forum member... who got booted from here.( ) And I think Karma is still biting him in the A$$!!

If I remember correctly I believe Apple paid the Beatles something like a billion dollars. I wouldn't say Apple won so much as the Beatles settled.

DIY Upgrade to Duck Tape (available in colors & patterns now) and electrical tape for bold lettering. Sue2

App tape contracting more than the vinyl due to temp/humidity changes from the time of application. I would suggest switching to paper tape.

Haha, been there, done that. If there was one quote that ever stuck in my head it was one from Steve Jobs " People don't know what they want until you show it to them." I don't want to have to deal with people coming back in a year or two so I just laminate everything and charge accordingly, and never even offer them without laminate.

We print on POP once in a while is that it? I would say it's either POP or styrene, we get styrene that is really thin once in while.

I don't have laminate liner but my vinyl liner I use for sublimation like Dakota and what's let becomes a bonfire usually once a week.

great for liner when doing sublimation! instead of butcher paper reuse the liner. also I use it to wrap decal bundles for shipping. - some gets burned though starting bon fires

Cheap banner now that's good. Throw in some crayons and call it a DIY kit

It depends on the complexity of the design. If it's one or two color, the stencil idea would probably be best. If it's intricate, I would go the vinyl route.

Looks good. I would probably grab a can of plasti dip for the next set too.
