I always overlay. I'm sure there is a valid reason not too in some specific scenario.... but I haven't ran across it yet. My OCD would destroy me if i left any form of a gap from trying to 'punch'.

Hello Everyone! My name is Marie, and I am located in South Carolina. I just got my Silhouette Cameo a big brother (a Roland GX-24). I have not been doing anything professional before this, but I am thinking of giving it a go. I had planned to focus on Wall Art, but things might be leading me in a different direction. I have a family friend that is looking for some signs for an event, so we will see how that goes. I look forward to being involved in the discussions here. From what I have read so far, I can tell there are alot of experienced and talented people here! Marie

I know one of the bosses is totally stretched to the breaking point trying to keep people trained. doesn't help it is a revolving door. you have to retain people to make that better and not just lean on a few to carry the load

dakotagrafx you are 100 % right. The kid that answered the phone today needs more training. Today i did not know what I wanted but needed. It was his job to be a tour guide to sales. Maybe his boss will read and coach D

I agree I started with the SC Now I have a unit with a servo and for the life of me can't figure out why I didn't make the jump sooner. It's a HUGE difference.

Never done that but I have done it with 3G and no parchment or colormask. Things got ugly fast so I see your point besides my teflon is attached to the press with magnets so I can't forget anymore.

peace of mind Jay - peace of mind - just one time putting a transfer on upside down when tired etc will make it a cheap insurance

We all started somewhere. I wouldn't want the sales job any more than they'd want my headache of a job.

cutters like the titan2, roland gx-24 and graphtecs use servo motors instead of stepper motors - much more precise movements

What's your address? I'll be there to catch it! I have a Graphtec at work with Graphtec Studio. I'll try to post the settings tomorrow. Have you checked that Tangential Mode (a.k.a. overcut) is off?

mr300s is right...I used to get the same thing until I set my offset to zero. It will probably make for a slower cutting process, but you can always increase the actual speed. If you're using Cutting Master 3, you'll find it under the cut window, tool setting, offset angle.

Common sense is apparently not a requirement for a police officer in that town

Every state is different. Down here I don't have to tax signs that are agricultural in nature. Had a lady at the tax dept. tell me I was wrong until I sent her a link to the exemption. No more calls from her lol.
