A couple of my kids have been wanting to learn to us Illustrator since they see me "playing" with it so much. They found a pic online and did most of the work vectorizing this by hand the hard way. If they are going to learn it I want them to learn it right. They are going to be handy to have around once I get them dialed in.

Look at it in wire frame and see if there is a stray node? Also make sure the offset is set at zero in your cut program ...

Welcome, there is a lot of good info here, sometimes it is best to sit back and lurk a little also.

I had a 16 oz spray bottle of RapidTac II in my install kit in the backseat of my truck. It tipped over and got hot enough yesterday that it swelled a bit and some leaked out - made my truck smell nice when I got back to it! Kind of expensive for an air freshener, though.. ;-)

You can get good deals on Epson printers through their outlet store on ebay - http://www.ebay.com/sch/Printers-Scanners-Supplies-/171961/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=&_ssn=epson_outlet&_sop=15 I have purchased a WorkForce Pro 7520 and a WorkForce Pro 3540 (Mother's Day gift) both through them - they were practically brand new, no marks on them. They come with a 14 days no questions asked money back return policy and a full 1 year Epson warranty. I purchased my WorkForce Pro 4020 directly from Cobra Ink, but it would have been a lot cheaper to buy one from the Epson Outlet ($79.00 w/ free S&H) plus a set of full, refillable pigment cartridges from Cobra ($114.99 + S&H). Make sure you get one that works with refillable pigment ink cartridges from some place like Cobra Ink before you buy. If you can afford it, get one that prints Tabloid (11x17") or Super B (13x19"), you'll definitely want the bigger size and it's really not that much more.

All these more profession papers are better than anything at Walmart (Avery brand), remember Avery t-shirt transfers are compatible with HP which is not pigment ink. You have to buy a different printer for the Pigment ink you can not mix the inks they will clog the printer in time. I would recommend any workforce by Epson. I also recommend the dual tray. That way you can have for lights and darks always ready,

I recently drove 80 miles and bought one. Brought my laptop with SignCut on it. The CE5000 cut test squares perfect. Pointed SignCut at it and cut a simple file. Probably would have still bought it had it only cut the test squares and not the file I sent it. But Jaybird's right in that it could have turned out just a giant paperweight.

That link sends me to the 1.96 download page. In my SCP installation there is drivers.pkg in C:\Program Files (x86)\SignCut\Resources created ‎Wednesday, ‎May ‎7, ‎2014, ‏‎9:01:34 AM. I wonder if that is the plotter preferences. I wonder if it is, where I could find a different version of that file...... UPDATE: I contacted SCP support. They upgraded my licences number. Now Liyu appears. I changed the settings. At this moment, it is running a job that in 5 previous attempts had gone haywire. I am keeping my fingers crossed. Hopefully the new plotter preferences fixed it. We shall see. THANK YOU! SOLVED The original file that started this whole thing now cuts. I had thought the plotter preferences were just so much fluff and that only the COM settings really mattered. I am corrected. Now its all working, (except the contour cutting, (but that's another story).

Decided it was time to Make a sign, that got the point across.. I seen a few folks walking the neighborhood, that seem to be scoping.. (Theft is becoming and issue in surrounding areas) so I decided to make this and dial in my new scope on my .308 Savage. 115 Yards, so the shots weren't as accurate as I hoped for the head shot, but we dialed it in.. Ive had a Garbage guy, and 2 city workers stop and take pictures of it.. Just thought I would share. WiL
