I finished my first banner. It's for a traveling baseball team. I made my own BS out of a paint trim guide, double sided tape, and felt. Worked Great.

I've been doing this going 12 years this year and I am still learning just like the rest of you. what's funny is it's not just on the new stuff i'm learning. We have a guy here who started this fall and has been making signs for 20 years and we are showing each other new ideas and old tricks.

VinylGraphicsFX ----- I say, get it into operation, let that baby slice & dice and go right to weeding and taping that first decal, and put that pen into the drawer. By the way, for those who are having mental blocks of designs for logos or stuff, it so happens that SignBlazer ELEMENTS contains a Library which features many cool weird cuttable logos. Just a tip.

I have been doing cerakote for awhile now and this is the reason I purchased my SC Series 24" cutter as well as some Avery yellow paint mask. Cerakote is much more durable than hydro-dipping but obviosuly you can't get some of the effects as an actual printed image wrapped around a firearm. Been designing some Kryptek stencils and digital camo for some of my customers projects.

Same here. I had some of his printed vinyl and it's all been nice stuff.

If your not still a newbie then you're sliding downhill. I try to learn something new everyday and if I can pass a little info on to others then I do. There are a lot that give it a go and give up. I just did some large wall quotes for a hair salon that usually buys them pre-cut from the local hobby shop but they actually referred her to me when they figured out how big they were. (they really weren't that big, largest was about 36"x 90") I convinced her it would be smart to let me install which was probably a bad idea because the texture on her walls was horrible, but mow she is talking about more vinyl on the door and so on.

We all have to learn I am still learning everyday after 5 years of cutting. And with cutting vinyl it is like anything else you have to have the desire, drive and perservence to grow and do well with the trade. A funny thing is a sports shop that I installed signage for a few years ago a sign and digital display now on the digital display is advertising for digital printing, screen printing, custom shirts and signs.

Ive hunted off and on for 25 years and never had the need for a camo gun. Just a novelty in my opinion as its never interfered with my ability to get different types of game

Wow, thanks, that's really helpful. 1) The customer was supposed to provide me with a list of shirt sizes so I could order them. The customer kept procrastinating delaying and went out and bought the shirts at Wal-Mart herself when I told her it was too late for me to order them. 2) Going the extra mile for a customer is a good thing, not something to criticize someone for. 3) It wasn't my choice. 4) Nothing you said helps explain why the letters fell off and what I can do to keep them from falling off a second time, nor do your comments serve any useful purpose other than trying to make yourself appear superior. 5) Refer to #4.

My personal opinion is that it looks like crap. It looks like it's swirling and going down a drain...

looks nice. might try to make the boat with outlines. reason is when someone wears a shirt like that or similar with a large solid piece of heat transfer it becomes a hot spot on the shirt. no air flow and tends to make a stick sweaty spot. HTV is great but not for doing large solid designs, try to outline. my 2 pennies
