Well, I have ditched the old setup and I'm now running vinyl on the rollers. It's awesome! Thx for the knowledge. I bet I spent 10% of my cutting time previously changing rolls out on the shaft. Lol.

Do them parallel to the flutes. It they are 18 x 24, I would do them dry with a Big Squeegee.

Kids when grown are hard to buy for. I'm tired of giving momey.. They're not.. Hahaha. So I decided to make something for them and this is what I came up with. She and my son-in-law have the same birthdate so my gift was fitting.

Here is a 5 color trace. Had to save it as and SVG to get the file small enough to upload. It's hard to get it to come out with all the chrome and reflections off the paint. Probably going to have to hand draw it but it will take a lot of time. Chevelle Wagon Trace.svg

I drug it into photoshop, cut out the background, desaturated it and messed with the contrast then run it through Vector magic and this is what the result was. Better than what I could do in illustrator or SCALP. wagon3.eps

WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOUR QR READER MUST BE BETTER !!?? Oops, guess I got caught up in the moment.

Ah i see..... I guess laying the roll inbetween the two rollers would keep it from unrolling a crap ton of vinyl, like you can see it has done in this picture...

You do help a LOT of people out Skarekrow and that says a lot about your character. It warms my heart to see people helping others out. Keep up the good work.

It all becomes easier with a little practice and you will be surprised how easy it becomes for you and will look back and wonder what all the fuss was about. The hard part for me is not having as good of artistic brain as I would like. I can manipulate the nodes with ease but getting the look just right is the hard part. I have a knack for re-creating existing art, like rebuilding someones logo from a worn out business card. To me that it easy. Coming up with the original stuff or figuring out the best way to highlight a silhouette to get it to look right is a whole different thing which I do NOT excel at and have to spend a lot of time monkeying around. I think the glove looks fine. The pinky finger looks like it could use a little thinning where it separates from the other fingers and possible the rest of the fingers could be slightly longer but I doubt anyone but you (or those who are looking as critique) would really pay any attention.

Why spend the time to print the films and then heat press them and everything? Have someone with a flatbed printed print on diabond and cut it down and boom your done. Roughly 40 sheets and you are set. Easy simple and you dont do anything and make some money

So I ordered CIS parts from cobra ink to create the system and it works in the refurb WF7510. I'm excited and saved $50 building it myself.

I finally found some hydrographic printing film. But, that stuff is dirt cheap on flea bay, if you want stock designs. BTW, looks great H20
