Also, I don't understand why you'd want to price her on the lower end. She already wants you to do it the first time why wouldn't she want you to do it the second time. By charging her on the low end the first time you're setting yourself up to have to drop another low price on her the second time. PLUS she's going to tell all her friends how cheap you are and you're going to have to give them a low ball price also. "Charge what you're worth" NOT what you think you customer's think you're worth. Just my 2 cents!

etched these today. Got an order of 12. I have done some work for this lady before in the vinyl cutting boards and she wanted to know if i could use her logo to make these. got one done, now she wants 12. also wants shot glasses. wondering about that size tho. would be tough i think. I bought the glasses for $1 and have really underpriced myself but since she has bought from me before i went low ($7 each ) on purpose. She remarks a lot on my FB so that helps get the word out. I am not good at pricing because i am such a cheapy i figure people don't like to pay lots for stuff. I did tell her that was HER price so not to quote it to others.

Use what you got i guess. I had 4 sticks of 1.5x2.0" .120 wall tubing in the shop.... and I'm tired of taking vinyl in and out of boxes and wanted the shelf space back... so I made this...

I have purchased my tape here for many years, after I tried the Main Perfect tear paper tape. Medium tac... I liked it better than the Conform R-tape that I had used for several years. .So, I stay with the Main paper tape. They are out of Michigan, I get it in 1 day, They do have other sizes, if you need smaller, but I buy the 48" log and they slit it free. Don't forget to leave your instructions in a message, if need slit. http://www.ebay.com/itm/MAIN-TAPE-48-X-300-VINYL-APPLICATION-TRANSFER-TAPE-PLOTTER-/201048958318?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ecf73a56e

I overkilled with the larger printers, however I know down the road I will be buying a bigger heat press. I also went bigger with the WF-7510 cause of the larger paper for 3G opaque I have used rolls in it. I started wanting to do just mugs and got into the poly shirts, and it went haywire and now I want to do everything.

Yep the uhauls have mostly smooth sides. I would not even price with greenstar I would use at least oracal 651 for a short term signage you dont want curling and peeling even on a low cost job. I would be around $ 300.00 to $350 per side the truck delivered to my shop.

Do you need to buy a sublimation printer or just the ink? so how much are you paying per signs I always charge 2X the price. of the substrate so if it costs me 2,50 I charge 5.00 for the substrate, The rest of the money is figured for paper, ink and my time. Of course I haven't done street signs I have done parking and license plates and usually get about 15-20 for license plates and 25 for parking signs. I'm probably low but when you do this from home and you have other means of money you can be a little lower than others.

I had 2 shirts come in from Sanmar stained in the last year and a half so I called expecting to have to send them pictures or the shirts back but they immediately shipped them to me no questions asked and the free shipping starts at $200 which if you do a fair amount of shirt is not hard to reach that amount. I recommend the Port and Company which is like the house brand but they are great shirts to work with.
