Yes you can do sleeves on a regular heat press, just need to get a press pad, or old mouse pad to put in it. Google heat press vinyl on T-shirt sleeve. There a couple videos showing how

I just tell them the the sooner they install it the easier it will be for them and if they must store them make sure it's in a cool dry place, not the glove box or behind their truck seat.

First of all, the designer (Jerry Bonham) is deceased, which explains why he's not working on the software anymore. Secondly, the primary issue you described about SBE (trial wait period, registration notice, looking for updates) was easily overcome by getting a patch or installing a no-trial version. Those who use it daily to make signs and make $$$ are not being nagged with trial reminders or updates, because we eliminated them and the software loads cleanly, just as you should be able to. Thirdly, the suggestion to move into FlexiStarter is an excellent one, and you will not regret doing that and taking advantage of a powerful program. I would rather pay good money for Flexi, than use SCAP even if they paid me.

Have you checked your cutting strip for gouges? scratches? Make sure cutter strip is down all the way across. Make sure nothing in the carriage head track, You stated it is a new blade,, You have to set the blade depth for it again. And because you left the new blade at the same height and force, check the blade tip and make sure it is not broken off. This is how you set the blade depth correctly below. Ripping is usually caused by too much blade exposed out of the blade holder. To start with, you should set your blade depth correctly, by taking the blade holder out of the machine, and firmly cut across a piece of scrap vinyl, you will be cutting. You should only be cutting the vinyl and barely a mark on wax paper backing, Adjust blade to get there, Then put the blade holder back in machine, and use the force of the machine to get there, same results, only cutting the vinyl and barely a mark in wax paper backing.

as with any software it isn't free upgrades for life - you get what was offered at the time of sale. if it was signblazer that is it. I have bought at least 3 copies of flexi - they don't just give me the new stuff when it comes out. Now with that said signblazer is still one of the best "cheap" option softwares out there - with the exception of scalps tracing being superior I think signblazer still beats it in most applications - even after not being updated for 6 years. Scal was developed as a cricuit software for cutting until a lawsuit stopped the sale - add some drivers and now call it scalp - they have made some improvements to it as I understand but it really is not sign software if you are serious into making signs and graphics - many design in corel as it has way more power (I think that is what drives the design side of flexi actually) and then export it to an eps to put into a cutting software. That way you have the power of flexi at a cheaper price that buying the pro version. You bought your cutter almost 5 years ago - might be time to look at flexi starter and corel - just thinking out loud

Hello, and you are on the right track. After you install the program (from HERE) --- http://support.uscutter.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/GetAttachment/190/24198 The setup will offer you a LONG list of drivers (emulators?) Try using a Desay Master driver and see if that works. If not, go with Master/LiYu. You can then keep attempting with other choices, like Creation PCut or Roland, but I would be willing to bet the MasterLiyu24 will get the cutter rolling.

I had to toss a bunch of premades on my pegboards because the tape wouldn't release. Now I tape them when I make the sale.

I've printed your response for my son's entertainment when he gets home. While clearing the drive earlier I was telling him " Yep back in 78', ughhhhh.....we just took it one coal shovel scoop at a time...." He wanted to know why anyone would have a coal shovel. Which brought back memories of clinkers in the winter and cinders most certainly embeded in the knee when you skidded your bicycle on them in the driveway.

Don't remove the teflon strip. It is there for a reason. Only remove the protective tape that is on top of it, to protect it from scratching and gouging it, when shipping.... Your welcome.

Bill (I believe), We all live and learn, and since I don't have an official amnesty program I hereby explicitly forgive you and reauthorize your license to use SignTorch products. I admire your honesty and sincerity (and loyalty) and I do not wish for you to suffer a life sentence so to speak. And now you can get a discount for your previous purchases toward the super bundle if interested. sincerely, Gary DeWitt
