barringtonr 9 Posted November 19, 2015 Greetings.Just thought I'd join while I await my Titan 3 which is on back order and should be shipping this week, according to the website. Can't wait. I've been doing t-shirts using heat transfer and now looking to getting into vinyl cutting. I've been peeping around here and pick up on some great information. Keep up the great work..

slice&dice 2,450 Posted November 19, 2015 Hey there in the Big Apple! You'll notice right away that start-up questions are immediately handled, just as we started up and found answers, so too shall you. With the Titan and VinylMaster software, you will be a happy individual. (So are many others, of course, resulting in the low inventory as they're trying to fulfill the demand for these very slick machines). Look on the USCUTTER ebay auctions (with BuyItNow option) and see "1427 Sold" or whatever the number is, it's usually a lot.

Wildgoose 4,200 Posted November 20, 2015 Welcome from Idaho. From everything I have read the Titan 3 is a good model. They definitely win the silent cutter award. HTV like you will be doing is great stuff I do a lot of it and always have happy customers.
barringtonr 9 Posted November 25, 2015 It's here. My USCutter Titan 3 arrived last night. First off, let me state that for a newbie entering into vinyl cutting, I was shocked that there was absolutely no instructions in any packaging. Thank goodness for the internet. After having to watch a youtube video to put the stand together, I was able to get the cutter out the box, placed on the stand, and turned on. After trial and error with the blade setting, speed setting and force settings (and once again youtube videos, and checking here at the forum), I managed to find the sweet spot for cutting my first sample on a sheet of heat transfer vinyl. The cutter was more than I expected it to be. The build, and the quietness of the machine was fantastic. As a newbie, I am very pleased with the purchase of my first cutter. Hopefully the admins can add the Titan 3 to a new TITAN 3 Series Vinyl Cutter Discussion here at the forum. I've been searching the internet for awhile before purchasing this cutter, and the information out there is very limited. This would be the perfect place to find the assistance us newbies will need. xpaperman 719 Posted November 28, 2015 On the low end cutters no instructions seems to be the norm. However, as you found out google is your friend. As you move forward in the field, it will continue to be your best friend! Of course, there is a ton of talented folks here that are willing to help out too! xpaperman 719 Posted November 29, 2015 not by any means should a Titan 3 be considered a 'low end' cutter. I apologize John, your right....... I had something else in my head at the moment! I blanked out the Titan 3 part when I was reading it. I focused on "no instructions" and it took me back to my SC.... then I remembered the huge book I got with my Graphtec. barringtonr 9 Posted November 29, 2015 Totally agree with you xpaperman. No way should the Titan 3 be considered low end. Speaking from my research prior to purchasing, my choices was the Graphtec CE6000 and the Titan 3. I went for the Titan because of a drop in price. I got the Titan, a starter kit with vinyl, and a few accessories, for still less than the price of the Graphtec, and for lower than the original price of the Titan. I've been using it for about three days now and besides the lack of instruction, I have no gripe about the cutter.
