I have had this idea bumping around in my head for a while so i finally moved ahead with it. The wrapped shoulder illustrates one of the advantages of HTV over screen print. (I wouldn't want to mass produce this though, way too time consuming). Sorry for the poor lighting in the pics but you get the idea anyway. I work in heavy construction so this time of year it's Hoody Time!

Is Flexistarter capable of much design work, or is it primarily a cut-only package? I got a copy of LXi Express with my first SignWarehouse cutter and it seemed like most of the potential design functions were grayed out until you upgraded. I used to design in one package, export it to EPS and then import it into LXi, but after getting used to being able to cut (almost) directly from CorelDraw with the Cutting Master plug-in, I never want to go back to using two distinctly separate software packages again - I'm spoiled!

Once again Mr Skarekrow to the rescue... Skarekrow is the king of eps files and Mark is font king....lol Nice work Skarekrow..

Magnum Magnetics has been recommended on here many times. I just ordered some from the Bay to try out. USC sells larger rolls of it. 30 mil is what you want for vehicles & 15 mil or so for other indoor uses. Don't forget to round the corners on vehicle magnets. I bought a cheap craft corner rounder. I'll let you know how it works out. Also, I'm not sure if I want to cut magnet with the Graphtec or use the backup MH series.

Quite honestly, excellent help with this one isn't likely to be free. Are you planning on printing this or cut vinyl? It's a pretty complex design for vinyl, even in a large version. You wrote that your boss really liked this version but, you both may want to work on a simplified rendition of it. Cut it down to the most important elements. Are all those ladders or that spider web really necessary? They're really cluttering the design, IMO. The text isn't particularly legible either. I'm not trying to knock it, it's just more of an illustration than a logo. Gonna take a few hours to make a usable graphic from it.

If you can ever find a great deal on Flexidesigner software it is awesome...It has all the design features of Flexisignpro, It is advertised as a 2nd design station. Just no cutting drivers... but that is what I use Flexistarter for.

Flexistarter is a basic design and great cutting software with contour cutting feature. It also includes the latest library of colors of vinyl from all manufacturers. Will import a lot more different files. Shown is Flexistarter8.6

Joe, you first got a Titan3, and returned it? What happened to disappoint you with that cutter? And now you're getting a Graphtec instead? Go with Flexi. No question. It is money well-spent. (Flexistarter is not that expensive)

The Graphtecs do come with their own cutting software, that has plugins for AI, which can be downloaded from the Graphtec site. I personally have used Flexistarter 8.6 and 10, for years as my cutting software.....There is no trial for it. Graphtec has Cutting Master 2 or 3 and Graphtec Studio.

Cool, here is a 3D printed pumpkin with an LED tea light.

Wacom Intuos 3 it has a few years on it but still get the job done.

I was on a road trip with my Jack Russell Terrier, Frito. Stopped at a rest area to use the restroom and when I came back out the straw had mysteriously disappeared from my beverage. About 15 minutes later Frito started making his "I have to go potty" noises again, so I pulled over along the highway and let him out (on a leash, of course) and he proceeded to poop out a long red straw - but it looked more like this... /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/ instead of like this ====================== So far I haven't found him or Hannah (Rat Terrier) eating any vinyl scraps - maybe he learned his lesson about plastics...

Draw a box, put your text in it then when you weed it pull the text out.

That looks really nice..How do u get the solid back like that with the letters cut out??? What is that called on your software?? I use scal pro
