That is one of the problems with the world today especially our country most equate money to happiness money is a necessity to survive in todays world as most people is not self sufficent at all any more. I would take a small farm, a few cattle, chickens fresh water and plenty of room for raising food and my loved ones, over money any day. That is probably the best feeling in the world is putting up a good crop and butchering a hog and maybe a beef and knowing your family will be feed for another year.....that is how it is on a farm. That was the way I was raised we had very, little cash but was rich just the same.

And all I get are annoying emails asking me to review my purchases.

I ordered several roles of HTV the other day for t-shirts. I needed 1' of purple to finish the job. Called to make sure it was in Memphis so I can get it the next day. The sales person I talked to sent me 2' free of charge. That's one reason I like doing business with them. Just wanted to say I appreciate it.

I adhere to the KISS philosophy some of the logos I have seen you have to study them to read them looks nice but sucks at getting the message out. I am no graphic designer and have paid for more then one logo design for customers when I could not come up with a design I liked I make my money off the signage and installs. I even farm out complex vectorizing to me it is cheaper to pay a few bucks then wasting time that I could make twice as much doing something I am more productive at.

You misunderstood my statement. Im not talking about greed...im talking about running a successful business..which in order to remain in business you must make a profit. I love making graphics and cutting decals...if I could I would do it all for free..but if I did that then im losing money and or its not a business but a hobby. Thats all im saying. Yes as long as he is happy with what he got paid but if u do the math and if the math results conclude he lost money..then if he kept doing things like that then he will not be making a profit. There is a difference between making a profit and greed.

I feel the same way. I was raised on a farm also. We still butcher a few beef and hogs every year. We put out huge gardens and can and freeze enough food to feed a small army every year. We give away large amounts of produce every year to friends . I have low rates and stay busy where the higher prices places aren't as busy. Everything I have house, land, cars, trucks etc is paid for so I don't need to charge rates that make people think do I really need that. Most in my area aren't to well off so I charge according to the income for the area.

I'm just grateful that it didn't do any other damage as repairs would be insane

usually when doing banners I put a do not cut sign on the printer when I put the longer hold down clamps on - didn't do it tonight. Yup - that will give you a motor error on top of ruining a cut off blade. reset with new blade all good but I think I would rather forget to mirror a transfer next time!

I had a roll of black htv come in messed up and called them and let them know on their webpage and i got 2 free rolls of black in replace of the messed up

I don't know about that. A couple months back I ran off 80 3g transfers and every 1 was mirrored. I'd rather change out a blade any day

Age dont have any thing to do with it .....I screwed up plenty when I was young but now I just dont remember what I screwed up But maybe that is the 60s coming back to bite me lol

just wondering here but it sounds like you have a pretty good idea what you're looking for already, why don't you give it a shot, get a rough sketch going and then post it and we can help you clean it up and/or critique it.

I love Siser easyweed and do 2 layers all the time. I tack down the first layer for 4 seconds then tack the second layer for 4 seconds then remove mylar, cover both layers with kraft paper and press both layers for 12 seconds. That way you don't get the mylar lines on the first layer.

I am not one sided on anything I have very varied views and interest and it crosses over to my music . I have always loved any good music and lots of times something someone says makes a song come to mind. My first choice was old rock but I would listen to Merle Haggard ,Johnny Cash ,George Jones etc. even when I was young I also like southern rock . I guess a better Summary would be I like music of all types . PS ..... I don't consider rap as music it should be classified as a inhumane punishment .
