I just wanted to say Happy 4th Of July to the greatest forum with the greatest members. Be safe out there and have a good time. I will be staying home due to I have the flu, lucky me.

Yeah.. there should be a for everything. Surely, the person that originally created it just hit the button. ~roll eyes~

I tried a Wacom tablet out. I don't remember which one but it was bigger than the small one. Seems like it was about standard letter sized or maybe slightly larger than that. My neice has a real small one she uses with her macbook pro and wishes it was bigger so I went bigger. I ended up taking it right back. Two reasons. #1 They use a lot of shortcut keystrokes combinations that included pen touches to objects that were going to have to be learned to use effectively with Illustrator. Didn't really like that, took me too long to learn all the shortcut keys already and then every time was working on some other computer I would be missing the tablet, yada yada yada. #2 I can't draw worth a crap! If you have the natural dexterity to draw then it would probably be very useful. The pen was pressure sensitive so the harder you pushed the wider the stroke went. Really cool but like I said, in these meatball hands, total waste of time. If you had the $$$ for the real fancy ones that you are actually drawing right on the image on the pad they look REALLY awesome... once again assuming you have some skills. I rely on AI because you don't have to necessarily be gifted once you learn how to go back in and fix things.

I'm in between t-shirt jobs at the moment so I took this time to play with my cutter and some easyweed. I finished my logo for export into Cutting Master 3. I think it came out good. However, I am going to add a hair more space around the MD so the red will be easier to fit around. This was only my third time using easyweed and my first design with multicolor alignment.

So it was time to step into the current century and get an auto darkening helmet. I bought the plane jane model weldmark and decided to play with it a little while it was nice and clean.

Dis this earlier this week. Just shows you that it doesn't take hours of design to make a massive improvement

You may want to scroll through your 'Add/remove programs" list chronologically and look for the one in there you don't recognize. Often you can pick these things up when you download and install something. When installing sometimes before it starts there is a screen with things p re-checked and people just hit OK without realizing If it's taking you to a specific page Google search "how to remove xyz"

Windows XP is an operating system...hackers have to get thru a software firewall and a router/switch to even get at the operating system. As long as your firewall and routers get updates thats what matters. My router and firewall protects me... Kind of like saying u gotta upgrade to a new engine cuz your old engine is vulnerable to nails in the road...

    1) Take a baby carriage shape and into your favorite vector program. 2) Lay out the words (in the fonts & sizes of your choice) within the shape. 3) Finish off with the words in the circular path of the wheels. 4) Save in your favorite vector format. 30 minutes to 1 hours' work... a Lifetime of Gratification.

I wouldn't want to go to court over it.I feel pretty sure I'd pay my lawyer to tell me I was screwed. It appears to have the intent of infringment and I bet that would be enough to get you in trouble. It's like taking the Nike swoop and changing the text you would be in violation of copyright and/or trademark.

On top of all the above, that would be one of the simplest hand trace jobs you could pick. You have been a member on here since 2009 and by now you should have developed the skills to trample any copyright you choose to infringe upon. (In no way do I condone infringement)

90% of the dot #'s we do are arial or arial black. The other 10% range from old english to tribal because some truckers could care less what big brother says they have to do.

I use rapid-tac or rapid-tac 2. They have worked great when I needed them. I didn't like the splash fluid, it didn't seem to evaporate fast enough.

Ok i am trying to figure out how much to order. i think i will need the following 2 Rolls of 751 violet 24x10yds (for a total of 20 yards) 1 Roll of 751 Grey 24x10yds 1 Roll of 751 Black 24x10yds. Total price from USCUTTER with shipping $198.96. So with about $200 in materials, plus APP Tape. Lets say $250-$300. I figure 1 day to remove old stuff and clean and another day to install new vinyl, per truck. So 2 days per truck. So 2 trucks, and thats 4 days. Thats about $1000 in 4 days. Hmm beats my fulltime job of $456 before taxes lol

If you want to match the swoosh, just take a good hi-res photo of it when you get it then do a trace with your program of choice. You'll have to clean it up some but shouldn't be too much work. Or here's some random stripes I found on the forums and pulled into a single file. Side Stripes.svg

A while back, on another thread, OW Jones quoted another poster, "...the best idea of lingo to use "your complaint is ambiguous, please clarify, meanwhile no action will be taken" and I would ask for specific links to their trademark/copyright registration. Seems like a good way to procede.

We all need reminded from time to time to respect each other. we all have different ways of doing things and no one way is right. There is usually many ways to accomplish the same goal. With open discussion and respecting each other the brain storming done on here has solved many issues and helped many people accomplish their goals. with respect shown the communication flows freely - sometimes it helps now sometimes it may help someone later with a similar issue. when respect isn't shown all communication stops and nothing gets accomplished. we learn from each other and make us all stronger as a whole if we work together. I am no different than anyone else and also need this reminder from time to time so thought to post it to remind myself and others. peace out my friends

Done and will do from now on. ps the stopping during cuts and cutting lines thru graphics on this cutter is well documented on the forum and many have fixed it by going serial . . . google doesn't seem to be your friend either when the tracking questions come up on the longer graphic I promise to keep my mouth shut As my cousin vinnie said - "I'm done with this one" when asked to leave and not help I leave, obviously we are not smart enough to help
