many of us chat back and forth and years ago we had a thread that people would post pictures of themselves so we could put a face with that name we communicate with. since a software update the old thread is lost out there somewhere as we can't search for it (would be fun with the old pics) so here is a new one - post your pic so we know who you are. this is mine from last summer lost a little weight since then. we also had a cool pet thread . . .

mike first thing - lpII is the same as a p-cut but with a laser pointer glued to it for MANUAL registration mark setting to contour printed things like t-shirt transfers - that will help to decide if you want a p-cut or lpII. on the bundle - don't do it - get some oracal vinyl and avoid the house brands altogether - it is much better to just get the colors you need and a quality vinyl. personally start with white, black, red, and go from there. even though it will come with scalp I personally would get the flexiStarter software - IMHO a much better cutting software. you can download signblazer free to design in - Scalp does a couple of things nice like rhinestone transfers and the tracing capability is respectable - but other than that it is a crafters software that has been slightly altered to make it work with a plotter.

Oh I will post I just have a cold and having issues coming up with sample images for the items, I hate a clogged head dang family brings it and leaves it with me and my dad, they should just take it with them lol. I like to see E L designs personally I cant wait till he gets home from work and his packages are at home it will be interesting to see if he posts everything he got. And isn't that always the case get into something for ourselves, then start to make things for other people?

Looks good, nice work. Can't tell from picture, but if you have not round the corners on those mags, you want to. It helps keep them from flying off

I meant mine personally had a head cold the last 2 days and its driving me nuts, however I did have issues with black today on my Epson I use for dye sub but got it going. I have 2 license plates I have to do and a car club on facebook that's local wants to see a sampling of what I can do then I might have a Corvette club locally interested also in license plates we will see hoping for the best.

No, I was talking to you hatter! I was hoping to see some of the finished product when you get around to it. Sounds like you have a ton of stuff to play with.... would love to see it! I would also like to see the E L mug to though! I too bought a bunch of different things to sub when I got my printer.... most of the blank stuff is still sitting on the shelf. Never got to it. I am thinking about randomly closing for about a week (after baseball is up and rolling of course) just to have a break to get caught up around the house and to play with stuff like my dye sub and to do some items I have been wanting to do for myself.... (the main reason I started this in the first place....ME!)

There is a place for everyone - I just know there are people much much better at designing than me and that is ok with me. i am who I am - just try to improve every year

watermark everything. I have learned that I have to watermark everything. But I have had people straight up steal my finished product pictures and pass them off as their own, so I trust no one. In the end, I would hope the other shop would see that it is your design and you watermarked it, but just like in any form of business, there are shady people out there that will just recreate it or something. If it is original, you do own it or so that's what I believe to be true...I am far from a lawyer so don't take my word to court with you. I hate people to waste my time, but also sometimes you have to do that in order to get their business. At least that's what I have experienced.

You can never have all the fonts you will ever need. I have over 50,000 and I still get customer requests weekly for ones I don't have. My advice...you've got the basics...add as you need.
