I was just checking tracking on some printed decals I ordered Thursday afternoon and they are gonna be here Monday. These were custom decals not something on the shelf to just throw in the box and still that fast. Oh and they had to come 800+ miles to get to me so if anyone ever wants to know why I use DAKOTAGRAFX for all my print work. I feel the need to mention because I ordered some stuff beginning of the week from Cali and it won't be here til next Friday, maybe I should give them Scott's # so he can teach them how to speed things up. I set my own standard that I live up to - it is up to each person to decide what they are willing to do and what level they will put out. I am not perfect by any means, I make mistakes, but I try to always do a little better each month, year, etc. I am sure I have driven some nuts on artwork that I feel is acceptable to print - but in the end I bet most are happy they put the extra time in to put out superior work. now if I could only learn to do better artwork LOL

I understand that . I usually ask before doing anything . Most people with unusual stuff know it attracks attention & enjoy others admiring what they have . When the mini horses & mini donkeys have babys at my farm , it causes a road block sometimes . If I ever get to move to the farm , i will get me a buffalo . Hopefully a baby that I can tame as much as possible . If it doesn't tame up enough , I'll put it in the freezer & try again .

Put a little blue builders chalk in an old sock and rub across your cut lines they show up great and the chalk cleans right off .

My youngest daughters graduation is Sunday - made this for her - she has always been called Bee and the bee thing has stuck around for years - the reason for the bees. she will be going on to college for criminal Justice and has abitions of working for the FBI. It looks uneven on the bottom in the photo but it is just not laying flat there and it looks much better in person!

I worked 4 years in a late model yard pulling parts and cutting quarter etc. You'd be surprised like on side stripes you only need 1 good side and mirror for the other. Hoods can be tough because they tend to take the brunt of the damage, just have to try and find a t-bone or rear ended car. The real trick is late models with front sheetmetal don't stay in 1 pc. long at the salvage yard so if you're looking for something in particular it's good to make friends with the workers or offer a small finders fee so the call you as soon as 1 comes in. That way you can do your thing before they sell the center front or ? ? ?

May not be the nicest thign to do but I have hear of people ordering the kits and then using them to make their own templates. Not my deal but I also have a local late model salvage yard that'll let me spend hours upon hours out there with butcher paper and a sharpie designing my own.

Thats what I was thinking the answer was going to be. I was hopping there would be a dvd that could be purchased. We have no one locally doing this and have had several request. Some folks have been buying them off the web and trying to put them on them selves and not having much luck. I have been applying decals they purchased elsewhere but as you said it is time consuming so have to charge more labor than they want to pay. That is until they mess one up. Thanks for the help. That's my setback to artwork I'm not good at all. I strive to be as good as I, am however I know I can be better. I have always loved designing artwork or try and come up with something even if I place other peoples artwork I paid for together its still creating. I'm actually a little nervous about learning on the VS 540 if I seriously go through with it.

I keep all my stuff on a Syquest.

I have a lot of family in NY and some are even cops. I have no idea why they stay there.. well cops in NY are paid very well... but besides that even though they are allowed to carry anywhere in the country they themselves cant stand NY laws. I frequently am asked (when I open carry), why do you carry a gun? My response; because I would rather have it to save your life as well as mine, but also pray to god that I will never need it. Better to have it and not need it than to need it and wish you had it.

Good looking banner and all the other stuff is nice as well. I never got into vinyl around the house my mail lady had to write my house # on my box in sharpie cause I never got round to it.

Not many guys showed up but what there was I wanted 3 of the cars, 57 Bel Aire, 70 Superbird, and a 70 Nova. As for handing out cards it wasn't to bad there's we're a few. However we found the event organizer and she wanted a card and if any seller spots open she will contact me. The great part is she asked if I could put her car on a tshirt I replied yes and even showed her some examples. Ned to get some of those small tshirts and sample kits made I think.

I grew up on hot dogs, maybe I should see a doctor.
