Well, I finally got time to do it and it turned out ok but I think I'll use wrap vinyl next time. I was a little upset to find out that the place I work doesn't have an eraser wheel and spent two hours trying to get the hood stripe off. That's the first pic. Luckily I borrowed an eraser wheel and zipped the rest off in 10 minutes.

Not really if I design it once in Corel then setup a cutting file in SCALP it's ready to go the next time I need it. I tried the other programs and this combination works well for my needs.

I guess its my first post here, not sure though. So I bought Vinyl Cutter a few months back for Mobile Phone Skins business. But I am not in any profit yet. So I was searching what other business I could do with it. Searching online I found that I can do T-Shirts. But I dont know much about them, just that I can cut some special sort of material and then heat press would do the work. But whats that material called? Please guide me a little. And let me show you people some of my skins.

Just the regular R-Tape nothing fancy. I have used this on carbon fiber also and not had any issues...only the fun of weeding lol

I would suggest laying it with knifeless tape if nobody has any. That way you can match the body lines perfectly.

Thanks, Sue. Like mark-s, ran across more of them than I care to count. Some of those tangled messes are the result of building a vector file for print only. Without the restraint of the rigid rules cut paths often dictate, These files are often an overlapping mess of self-intersecting sub paths. There are a few shortcuts but more often than not, you'll have to start from scratch.

Hate to say it but I bought my cutter, and press from sign warehouse and I get better help on this forum than Sign warehouse.

QUOTE> "I sell my cutter today... Now i'm left without a cutter." Did you sell your only cutter before securing a replacement? If so, not a move I would have made.... jumped the gun a bit I'd say.

Thanks everyone. Yeah the color is great! Not to mention being from SC garnet and black is one of my favorite color schemes

Actually weeding it might not be so bad as mentioned by jaybird below. I'll try that first, but I could also try the other suggestions mentioned. Thanks. I'll check, but I don't think it's a problem. Thanks and bummer. jk I'll definitely try it. Thanks. Thanks. I've actually wanted to wrap some my FJ in a Swedish camo design. Maybe one day.

Just message when you decide how much cheap is. I'm looking for an upgrade but I don't want to spend any more $$$ than absolutely necessary.

Take your original text. Now make a shadow layer, then merge those two giving you your outline. Now make a shadow layer to THAT outline. Merge those two together and you have it.

There are no settings set in stone, every cutter machine will vary. Once you set your blade depth correctly, then you adjust the force, With blade offset start at 0.25mm Adjust at 0.05 + or minus...until a square has sharp corners. Speed depends on what you are cutting, material and design. I cut small text slow, as well as detailed designs. Here is how to set you blade depth correctly. To start with, you should set your blade depth correctly, by taking the blade holder out of the machine, and firmly cut across a piece of scrap vinyl, you will be cutting. You should only be cutting the vinyl and barely a mark on wax paper backing, Adjust blade to get there, Then put the blade holder back in machine, and use the force of the machine to get there, same results, only cutting the vinyl and barely a mark in wax paper backing.
