And here's my last post showing off my work. This piece ISN'T finished yet. I still need to sand and seal it. After that I'll engrave the Orlando Cars and Coffee logo on it. Completely laser cut. I got it on the first try. It fits together perfectly with alittle help from a hammer without any glue.

This took about 4 weeks of fabrication work. Lots of trial and error. The rotary that came with the laser was just rollers that turned a glass. It was very difficult to do odd shape glasses. To get a pint glass to level with the laser you had to angle it up but this also caused the glass to slide down the rollers. Just a pain. Looked like this. I ended up designing and making my own based off of some pictures I had seen. This one allows me to adjust the angle of only 1 side of the glass. It also lets me engrave glasses with handles now. Everything was laser cut including the gears. I spent 3 days learning now gears work. You'd be surprised all the calculations involved with designing gears. Here's a video of the final product. You have NO idea the HUGE since of accomplishment I felt watching this engrave it's first glasses. The process it super easy now. remove old glass, place a new glass on the rollers and hit start. 3min and 30sec later I have a perfectly etched glass.

I have been out of town but just got back early this morning. We ran up to Spokane WA for a large volleyball tournament. Attached is what my game day shirt had on it. Front was the top and back was the bottom. I got a lot of laughs.

Customer builds custom cars. I have done a couple of cars for him. This is a custom build for the local Coca Cola Co. All I did was the graphics print and install. Started out as a 1965 Mustang. Also a mini model. mark-s

What dakota is saying in a very non judgmental way is that your squeegee techniques are probably lacking as that is almost always the cause of bubbles. That's not something that is very easy to elaborate on effectively in a written monologue either. Basics are work from the middle of the graphic up and down then start across toward one side and keep your squeegee straight with a low angle to help avoid extra friction (even more important on wet app) and use plenty of force. Once you get across one half then go back and do the same the other direction. I have watched several youtube vids of wrap installation and they are all over rt. place with their squeegees but that can mislead newbies because wrap vinyl has air release channels in the adhesive that lets the bubbles out. Regular vinyl is more prone to issues if you are sloppy. This is something that actually takes practice, a lot of practice. Here is a basic pic of how I go about it (not that I'm some guru or anything)

I tried it on the back of an aluminum cookie sheet of my wife's and it has stayed ever since, including many trips through the oven. I would be surprised if it DOESN'T work. The only color I have is old fashioned gold.

I've spent most of my winters here in Va... and disliked it most of my adult life. I cringe at the thought of the winters up there in the Great Lakes Regions and marvel at the wonder that any of you survive it. Your Mom's got the right idea, heading to Fla.

Inkscape does have a Find option that can find objects with a given color. Shouldn't be too hard to do a Find, and move the results to a new layer. Inkscape is a general purpose vector graphics design software. SCALP and SCP are specialty cutting software. It is not surprising given the need to cut colors, that such a separating colors to layers feature would come to being.

Sometimes you can cut some relief cuts up into the overall graphic and help let it wrap around the curve. If the leaping lion allows like maybe in between the front paws and the head etc. Remove as much of the excess app tape as possible so it doesn't interfere with the warp. 751 will definitely mold to the shape a lot better. Paper should work but as mentioned in some cases the clear will actually stretch just a little. Round surfaces are tough to get done right. This is a good job for printed vinyl "stickers" but even they can give you fits with wrinkles if the shape is severe.

Now that everyone has their 3-D printers, you need a way to add some pizzaz to your objects. Solution is, Computationable Hydrographic Printing. That's all there is to it.
