Almost did it again! Had 20+ HTV pocket logos ready to cut.... and hit the send button.... whew, caught that one in time. Generally the only place I ever MIRROR anything is HTV... and I have to watch myself. Darn with all the NAG pop-ups around wouldn't you think they could put ONE in the cutter program just to ask the simple question... "Do you need to mirror this file before cutting?" Saved this time... Sue2

Sorry but no way will I pay 50.00 dollars for something like this. The prices are way to high for some of the things sold on here. Like the EZRoll Transfer Tape Applicator 99.00 dollars, what a rip off. I want one but the price is way to high for me at this time. Harbor Fright had the rollers on sale for 4.99 each so I made this. I was in a hurry to try it so I just mounted them on the table for now. Maybe this could help someone just starting out like myself.

Isn't that the bullet from Mario Brothers? Don't know how protective Nintendo is of their characters, if this is for a customer might want to be careful it's not a setup.

that's a good processor for the money dakota. just make sure you get a liquid cooler for it, high end AMD's run hot since overclocking is basically a normal option now.

Word of mouth, business cards and pounding the ground are what made me busy. Walmart doesn't describe what they do and the same goes for Target, Kmart, Sears, Etc. You need a easily remembered name and just promote the crap out of yourself.

I agree with mac, sales4U makes me think of something more like ebay or craigslist however, I also think it's more in marketing and word of mouth than just the name. If you're wanting search engines to catch your web page the name isn't as important as the meta tags and search bot readable text on the web pages.

Love your signature under your post I can't held with the name mainly because I don't have an online presence to tell you what works best but the stores name is Jay's Place so whenever somebody asks where something was done they say I got it at Jay's Place. Simple but effective.

I have to be honest, Sales 4U does not say vinyl graphics, graphic design or marketing products to me. IMO it says " I sell stuff " and that's it. This is even more evident online. You have a finite window of time that someone might glance at your name in a google search and you need to make it very clear what you are and what you do. you can leverage your products once you have the customer, but when someone searches online for " sign maker in XX town " they want to find someone who makes signs. same with promo products, and shirts, and so on. I live on the east coast, boats are a big portion of business for me. one of the sign shops in town, registered boatstriping.com, and its just a re-direct domain. it sends you to his shops website. You could do something similar. The NEW customer is very fickle and easily swayed. I've had customers co me tome from the next town over. I ask them why they came to me instead of the sign shop they have in their town, and sometimes its as simple as " I didn't like their name." Customers ALWAYS judge a book by its cover. just my .02

I think A10 is 8 core chip for your basic computer processing, and 4 cores for graphic acceleration. You don't need to buy a fancy graphics card which is always nice and cheaper. I have just an 8 core cpu but I have what use to be a high end card. And don't skimp on memory I got 16gbs of ram in mine don't ask what speed cause I cant remember I think its 1600mhz. Whats so funny is my dad use to be the computer geek in the family and now its me lol. I had to have a mid gradd case (lan LI) I took it all apart rivets etc, stripped the grey paint off and painted it blue. after a year I decided to upgrade after that to a better video card (one I got now) and motherboard. So I stripped the case down and painted it red. Been happy with it for 3 yrs, hmm time to upgrade lol.

You will probably find that you change your designs a little to make things work out and the minutiae details go away with no one even noticing.

we don't really give the customer a choice, we tell them before install if at all possible we are going to remove screws prior to installation in any area the vinyl will hit. we have laid graphics on many trailers it's far less headache if you just remove them. the trick is to layout your graphics on trailer and then only remove screws the vinyl will hit.

some customers want the screws removed prior to installation, others do not. for those that do not, I lay the vinyl as normal leaving the excess bubble over the screw/rivet. after the vinyl is on and applied as normal, I then go back with a heat gun and pin and make a small hole in the center of the screw/rivet and work the excess air out.
