6 pointsMY FIRST MUG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry I am excited and impressed it came out
-
3 pointsThey are all correct, also watch the spacing on your mugs, have the paper (image) even on both sides. Each one looks off to me closer to the left side then right side. If they were even it would look better also. I have a George Knight and also the wraps. Another idea is you don't always need a full wrap to look good. These are unbreakable poly mugs

2 pointsA place with a garage would be awesome, but i could see myself doing more work on my truck and atvs and motorcycles than installing vinyl onto cars lol!!

2 pointsMug press's are ok however they have limit use. You cant do a full cup image. They cause ghosting where there is no pressure at the top, bottom or by the handle. the other tool is mug wraps better all the way around and you use your oven. You have 2 forms of paper you can use. Rhinotech makes a paper called single print which you run through a laser printer in reverse, cut it out, attach to the mug with transfer tape. wrap it with either the mug wrap or put into the press and follow the instructions for time. Then there is Dye sublimation paper which you can buy from any sublimation provider. Follow same instructions. The only different is with the rhinotech paper you have to clear coat the mug of the image will come off. Sublimation printers come in different sizes, and makers. You can buy an Epson printer and use sublimation ink, or you can buy a Ricoh and sublimation ink. The different is Ricoh is less maintenance however its higher in price and the inks are a gel. You can get buy printers that can print up to 13X19 for desktops or you can buy a wide format printer by Epson and so larger items such as all over shirts. However you need a wide format heat press

2 pointsIf the CL scams are one of those who say they are ready to pay my asking price but are out of town in military service (or other excuse) I usually mess with them for a while just to be a pain. LOL

Ordered 4 to start but sounds like I have another 10 or more to do when these are seen. Also gotta get my air eraser as they want beer mugs to match.. Kinda excited that this is taking off so good so far

1 pointAlright I have to admit I have a sublimation addiction and after receiving my second to last order (last from Coastal Business for awhile) I noticed the living room was looking like a shipping dock more than a living room. I have various Iphone 5/s/c cases Samsung Galaxy case all that's out there, Ipad 2/3/4 cases, various jewelry items, mini license plates, poker chips, Bandana's, pet tags, dog tags, glass cutting boards, vapor apparel tshirts, mantle clocks, water bottles, cuff bracelets, name badges, various awards, plaques, and so much more items along with various mounting products, and tools I had to purchase, I'm thinking I have gone to far and need help.

1 point0 Speedstroke DNA for "racecars, phone # and location" Rapier is the closest i found for "Speed" Aachen is the closest i found for "Virginia" Shouldnt be hard to make the last two work if you can't find exact matches *Edit* -- Rapier for the "S" and Brush Script for "peed" will get you even closer i think

1 pointSignblazer is very to use. I have been using it for 3 years without any problems. Download it from the US Cutter site(it's free). As said before, use your pen tool and paper to practice with.

1 pointI am sure support will be able to help figure out what issues you have going on - you don't mention what software you are using to cut from. m If your home AC kicking on is affecting the cutting I would venture to say you have some home electrical issues - it should not be dropping voltage or causing spikes that would affect your cuts - lastly never never never take a job until you are familiar with any new hardware and software. becoming familiar with the new stuff is important before promising a job. that only adds to your frustration. my first cutter ran about 20 minutes before a capacitor that was install backwards blew up in a quiet basement at 2am - heart attack and about 3 weeks before I got it fully resolved with 2 new mb, new power supply, control panel and finally mailing the cutter back and getting it replaced . . . had I promised jobs during that time I would have been very frustrated too, but I was getting to know the machine when the problem cropped up - hang in there Monday support will be available to help get you going. depending on how complicated the design is ( lots of nodes) you could be reaching the limit of the memory in the cutter causing this problem also, say if you are trying to cut a tree graphic for on a wall floor to ceiling with all the branches, etc - it might be just too much for the memory to handle - memory in the sc is only 1mb. another thought if you are using scalp - have you downloaded signblazer and tried that with your cutter - I am sure it would take a search of the forum to find which driver to use as the sc wasn't thought of when development of signblazer was stopped due to the owners death. but it is a solid program to run and good to test with the second program. take the blade holder out and let it run thru the coarse without actually cutting before wasting any more vinyl, if it came with a pen holder use that and butcher paper till you get the bugs worked out is another option lastly I do not work for usc but am a long time member here - the term staff in the moderators title is a little misleading . . . .more like volunteer LOL

1 pointSo having yur business card or flyer on a bulletin board is "unprofessional"...if so thats so f'n stupid. I have my card at on the board at my local barber shop, my local supermarket, laundrymat, and post office. Theres nothing unprofessional about it. Now you wanna here about advertising that is unprofessional yet really genius! Around here its called "Stare Advertising"..its placing boards and business ads on the wall right infrontof the urinal in public restrooms! So as im holding my manhood and peeing i can read local and statewide business ads! And trust me...i would rather hear "oh i saw your ad on the board at the supermarket"...than this "hey man i saw your ad as i was taking a piss". Also look up the term "professional"..it varies depeing on the said "profession".. Our profession is essentially graphics and advertising with such graphic media..so anyway that we can inform our potential customers of our service should be "professional".Thus having a card or flyer in a high traffic public area is professional. Nailing my card to a tree in the woods would be unprofessional..as not many people are gonna see it. And anyone who passes up free advertising is just stupid! So i dont think having my card on a bulletin board is unprofessional at all. Any way of getting your name to potential customers is a plus..

1 pointI do an average of 10 shirts an hour with front and back graphics. (this includes design, cut and weed time) You can knock those out in an evening if you aren't afraid to stay up a little late. I do it all the time. Sleep when your dead. LOL

1 pointthere is alot of that on here.... people taking paying jobs and don't even know anything about making decals, what kind of vinyl or tape to use, , run their vinyl cutter, or even know how to vectorize an image. Then they are fuming, because they can't get there order done. or have wasted 30 ft of vinyl.. these people should look in the mirror and blame themselves. As with anything, you have to practice, practice, before you should be accepting any orders..... my 2c.
