a poor attempt at the design you suggested - don't think anyone would confuse this for the real thing. PS nobody ever accused me of being a graphic artist - but I like to brainstorm to help others

I think this thread can be about signs that tell the truth, in a funny way.

Tell you the truth, I have been so busy printing t-shirts I haven't even had a chance to open it. Even after ordering on Friday Afternoon, it came Tuesday morning! I plan on tearing into it very soon! I am so excited!

Make score lines in the vinyl so you're pulling up smaller sections at a time.

I buy all my audio cabling and some last-minute auctions for mixing equipment and MIDI stuff but I wont buy vinyl material if I can help it as its too high and not enough in quantity as I can do better with USC and shipping is so fast they cant hold a light to USC on shipping...I tried on ebay and found being under bid by others so I wasn't going to give it away and have to pay Ebay the privilege to give my work away, then came the request for my S/S number for IRS , that's it, done, finished..I am not crooked, nor hiding from IRS but I don't give my S/S info to just some yaawho...So I will stick to bein a poor idealist and keep playin rock-n-roll and cutting vinyl wall art when someone wants it....

I was having some kind of hardware issue. The Keyspan passed all testing. What was happening is that when I would go to calibrate, the machine would lock-up (very scary thing to have happen repeatedly) and I would have to hard-reboot. So, what I did was standard problem-solving. First, I disabled all non-essential programs; anti-virus, anti-Malware, an app called 'DeskPins', Adobe monitor, etc. I shut down all non-essential apps and services. Then, I unplugged all non-essential USB devices. Printer, USB audio device, etc. Then, I tried calibration again and it worked. I also tried it outside of Windows Serial Mode, though I don't know if that was the issue. It could be that my Malware or Anti-Virus program was interfering too, but I seem to recall having those when I first calibrated, since I always run that software. Weird problem, but the cutter cuts nicely now. FINALLY. Sheesh.

Same here..I look at it as a whole, I make all my score cuts before hand as to be able to remove as much till I get near the intricate areas, I can remove 70-80% by making the precuts before using light table to get to the sensitive areas...

Watch out people, anyone who sells on Ebay knows how some customers are just flat out jerks. I had an account since 2005 with a store, kept about 500 items in my store at all times. Always had 100% - 99% feedback until one month. I had one customer purchase 2 separate things from me, the shipping option they chose which clearly stated that it was standard USPS shipping (not priority mail) and the items both stated that they could take up to 3 business days before shipping. I purchased the postage through Ebay 2 days after the purchase and shipped the items out, they claim that the items took a week to get there and because of that they gave me a low feedback on shipping time. After being a loyal seller for all those years Ebay closed my seller account on me because of this. I called them a bunch of times and spoke with numerous managers who all said the same thing to me which was "Im sorry sir our policies are what they are and it doesn't matter when you purchased the postage or shipped it, a customer was not satisfied with the shipping time and that is why we closed your account. There is nothing that we can do to restore it for you. You will no longer be able to sell on Ebay ever again." So as my previous statement said.... Ebay SUCKS! My theory is... I remember reading a few years ago an interview that someone did with the Ebay CEO and he had made a comment that they wanted to try and get away from having the small sellers and only concentrate on having multi million dollar companies selling there so they can compete with Amazon in a bigger marketplace. I feel that I was unfairly treated. They have NO loyalty or compassion for their sellers, only for the buyers. They probably treat the big companies on there like gold but who knows. Ebay has changed a lot over the years and never for the better of the sellers. They will continue to screw the sellers as much as they can until there are none left. I REFUSE to do any business with them ever again and I urge people to do the same all the time. By the way, this all happened to me about 3 months ago. So far Etsy has been pretty good for me and the customers there seem to be much better than the bottom feeders over at the worlds largest flea market. BOYCOTT EBAY!

Yes, He needs to take the vinyl out, and make sure each pinch roller is directly over the grit roller. Or it will definitely act like that.

Thanks guys.Skarekrow, you nailed it. Now for the significance. For those that aren't aware with the history of Arkansas Razorback football, we had a useless pos coach named Houston Dale Nutt. Halfway through his 10 year tenure there was a growing faction that wanted him gone. These were called the darksiders. The others in the fan base that wanted to keep him were known as huggers. We had/still have DarkSider/Hugger wars. Well, the wars are starting back up with our current athletic director and his poor choice for a head coach. So far, form what I can tell is I'm the most outspoken DarkSider.

I've been selling on Ebay for over a decade. Of course fees go up, but so does the cost of living. Ebay has been great to me, just got to know how to work it.

I wish I knew more about auto maintenance. Daddy taught me to change the oil...'bout all he knew, nowadays with the whole recycle old oil thing it is easier and about the same price to just have that done. Oh, and I can add windshield wiper fluid too! Don't get me wrong.... I am mechanically inclined and do all home repairs etc. just the car thing missed me. Would love to have a classic or two around here (other than me ;-)

I thought my off shore cutter was set up perfect. Then I got a graphtec. Turns out it was far from perfect. And I still tweek the graphtec now and then. Sometimes you don't realize you have a problem.

I don't know about the without issues part. I haven't heard anybody ever say that they don't have issues with any cutter budget or high end. You yourself have posted about fixing things with your cutters.

It may not boost sales but it eliminates most of the cutter related issues people have thereby freeing up that time to work on other things such as design and sales. I personally have noticed a marked improvement in quality and have had a couple long term customers make comments about it.
