You just don't get it, do you. The sharing of copyrighted material is not allowed here, nor are the staff going to allow you to use this forum as a means to acquire them. In this day and age, if you are not able to acquire ANY image you need either through google or recreating it yourself, then maybe you are in the wrong profession.

    Google, the greatest enabler of copyright infringement in the last 100 years.

    I've been using 150 grit AO in my home built blaster. I have since replaced the top with a full size plexi top.

    Google= Not just an "Enabler"... They are an "Infringer" as well. They make their money off our images on their web pages without our permission. Tons of us should get together and file a class action law suit against them.

    Every blade is ground slightly differently especially with the cheaper blades which will sometimes be enough difference that you'll nee to adjust the offset for the new blade.

    Build a sandblaster of course! Had an old, out of date, propane cylinder that was just going to get recycled anyway, so I decided to make something useful with it. A friend used it to sandblast his tractor, so that's how it ended up Farmall red. Now I just have to find an excuse to try etching some glass. The laser can do it well enough, but it takes forever to raster anything of decent size. I'm thinking a stencil will go way faster.

    You will have to ask Disney for it, as I doubt anyone here will provide it to you.

    Try it from the back too. Mirrors are cool. I have gotten in the habit of giving out etched glassware as wedding gifts as our friends kids are getting married. Best one is a set of pyrex with their name echoed in reverse so they can read it from the top. Real big hit. At christmas time I go hit the dollar store or a place called Big Lots and grab small cookie jars and decorate the sides with specific names. People freak out.

    Nukes! Nice! Thanks for your service. I have never tried that slag but I have heard it works great. A regular particle mask will keep you in pretty good shape with non-silica products. I have a cheap harbor F cabinet and also a 20b pot similar to your DIY tank. The pot will definitely do more aggressive work but I have fallen in love with the siphon gun in the cabinet. Super fast and a little easier to take it easy on the intricate work. I found a local supplier that crushes up porcelain and it works perfect.

    Save yourself a headache. IF she's not willing to play by your rules then tell her to take it to someone else. Just let it go...................

    Lol My wife's cousin asked me to do him some shirts (htv). I kept telling him a price but he kept playing it off like he didnt hear me. He brings me the shirts that he wanted and told me he'll buy me lunch. It was 5 shirts. So what I did was just cut it out and told him "you weed it and press it". He messes up a few shirts while pressing it....oh well! Btw I ordered a big lunch lol I dont know why family is like that....

    Based on the responses I'd say it's just 1 lone wolf. All of my family fought for the north but if they knew then what we know now who knows what might have happened.

    When I quote a price on here I'm usually low side retail and I don't say it to imply you should charge that but you should be aware because no matter how many say it's a hobby when they work too cheap they do take away work from those who are trying to make a living. All I say is be fair to yourself and your customer. SInce they are usually called customer or client most are in business whether they admit it to themselves or not and should price accordingly.

    <blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="Wildgoose" data-cid="347741" data-time="1394575624">
the first hobby I have ever had that was a money maker instead of a money PIT!

THIS is what I am looking forward to. Too many hobbies & too much money spent in the past few years just to have something to keep myself busy. Soon I will be busy busy and hopefully on my way towards some extra $$. In regards to pricing; I see both sides of the coin. Overcharging could drive business away but cutting yourself short will not only put less in your pocket, it could indeed drive the entire market down. That isn't good for any of us. See it too much on ebay..... Penny sellers Guess it's a fine line but quality products and good service will usually pay off in the end.
