I have the titan2; took a while to get the settings correct, but stepping up from a craft cutter to a quality cutter was well worth me pulling out my hair. And my ruler is "wrong" too, good thing I don't use it.

Last night I had more time to play around. I took your guys' advise and ignored the rulers, and didn't have any problems! I've done a lot of vinyl cutting with my craft cutter, but never really played with HTV before. I watched some youtube videos and searched the internet for learning about pressure with the heat press. Thank you for the encouragement and input. I was able to feel more at ease with my purchase, and am so much happier with the Titan vs Cameo, in just this short time. I am attaching a picture of my projects I worked on last night. Thank you AGAIN!

You've made 342 sales in the first week of having your cutter? People are still trying to figure out how to set the blade in the first week. Let alone understand offset. How are you selling so much stuff so quick? For your question, theres no way for us to give you tips without knowing more about your process now. You asked a very very vague question. You need to ask for tips on a specific process, like layering or applying app tape. Then the forces can show up and help.

Thanks for the feedback people. This was great info. Setting the lead in length to the blade offset worked a charm. I don't have the greatest vinyl cutter and I find that using the Tangential Emulation in conjunction with some extra over-cut is great to get the blade pointing in the right direction for very detailed graphics and small font. Cheers, Phil

I do the same thing Scott I go to the Beach in the fall or early spring and pay $50.00 for a beach side apartment fully furnished kitchen bedroom suite that cost $300.00 per night in the middle of summer. I also take advantage of off season rates in Virginia and Tennessee and I do the same thing working 7 days a week for extended periods before taking a breather and by the time I do I damn sure need it.

Dinosaur. I compare these things to the Photo Minilabs that processed 35mm films. Obsolete technology that you don't want to mess with.

I believe you need to look a little closer at "Send to Cutfile and Edit Cutfile". Between the options that are available in that module (for instance, full rotational abilities) as well as laying out objects on the design space as you want them laid out on the vinyl, I don't think it's as limited as you describe. You mentioned "one button" duplication of an object... that's easily accomplished and laid out (nested) exactly as you want them in the design space and/or the cut file edit areas. Not trying to argue here... All new software takes time to learn. There's still plenty of it I haven't discovered yet, too.

wow. First off, my feelings weren't hurt my mark's comment at all. He was 100% in line with what he said. He has quickly named off fonts before and helped in the past. I did get a clean version to work from tracing in adobe. But have seen alot of more talented people's work on here and was just looking for a little help. - thanks dance0001 for your trace. Ya it took 3 months to come back , i had a lot of personal shit go on. This site is full of very helpful people. And full of a wide range of people's experience and talent levels. No need to rip on mark. or quite frankly myself.

Damn near the same price as a Graphtec now. Like that it's got ARMS but I think the price point may be a tad too close to a ce6000-60

A little bit. My wife and I were just married. We spent a week in New Orleans and picked up a painting from a street vendor. The painting best described how we felt.
