stacey and I decided to donate this one for the veterans . . . they got a new trailer and wanted the sign on the back before they head out to the rest area on the upcoming holiday weekend. second one his dad has an old painted sign that was in bad shape and wanted to recreate the fairly crude sign so that is what we did

If you use the heat gun (I do it all the time) just pass it over it lightly so you don't get the paint too hot.

I should clarify- I use the window for the back light so i can align my layers perfectly. That is what I use when I need to layer on the quick fast instead of using my layering station. Personally, I understand the cleaner look of the black border... and I would (maybe) do that for a small run. But I generally start pulling back on stuff like that on larger orders. Diminishing returns on effort. If you layed black on yellow vs. my recommendation of yellow on black - you will also have a very thin piece of black that is susceptable to car wash destruction. Just my $.02.

I just ordered some from him a few weeks ago and got 5 60* blades. And yes mention you are a uscutter forum member for a discount. They are great blades!

I'd cut a solid piece of black as a background, then cut yellow and put it on top. THEN I'd build me a layering station In a pinch, use a window and some tape. 1. hang black layer on window 2. align yellow layer on black layer - using window to get perfect alignment 3. remove backing and apply yellow to black This is not a speedy approach for large runs - but will work very good unti you have a good layering station setup.

    * for those wondering - I followed the aforementioned steps and then used the Graffix Square Up plugin which squares up lines within 20 degrees of verticality - came out perfectly. I make oil paintings - and I usually use Tamiya tape to do the masking. Sometimes I go through several rolls for each painting. I've attached two examples (2012). Clearly translating large shapes with paint mask vinyl will make my studio practice much more expedient -- I'm hoping. Thanks again everyone for your help.

Take in mind i am a web developer/designer when u read these comments: The site appears to be too wide, and doesn't adjust and fit into my screen, and the menu on the left side is only half way showing, and there appears to be side to side scroll. It's best to have a set width, say 900wide, or have it percent based to adjust to various screen sizes. There's nothing wrong with black with red text, but you may want to choose a brighter red. Keep in mind colors will appear differently on the many types of screens and resolutions. You have it on the site many times (Some images are for samples only and not for resale.) First i think it should be "sale" not resale. Second, why post up samples of stuff your'e not going to sale?? It would be like me posting up the CHEVY logo on my site, and telling people its just for sample and im not selling it...but yet i made it?? Keep it simple, post samples of your work that u can make and sale. What did you use to make/design this site and shopping cart?? See the pic below...u can see the menu on the left is out of the browser frame and i cant go to the left with the scroller, but i can scroll to the right... Also i viewed it in google chrome and in internet explorer, and got the same results.

Quick first impressions. Harsh overall effect -- difficult to look at red on black. At checkout, the shipping calculation came up $0.00, but when going into PayPal for payment, the shipping had to be added. I'm not sure about the lettering under the main heading, naming your different offerings. Maybe it's OK in that style, but certainly it's not easy to read. Lots of items, and easy to navigate. Basic website, serves the purpose. Best wishes for success, always.

Hey guys, Im new to the site. This is my first post on here. I pretty much have only one question that I cant seem to figure out. I have figured out quite a bit from trial and error but im having trouble with one thing and I dont see any posts exactly like the problem I am having. I believe it may be some X and Y problem. My problem being StartStop ligning up perfect. Yes I am using a UScutter sc801 with illustrator cs6 for designing and signblazer Elements 6.0.21 trial for cutting. I have my offset on signblazer set at .35 speed at 200 and pressure at about 9 with the blade hardley sticking out. pretty much cant see the blade marks on the backing of Oracle 651. I will post this question and info along with a couple photos of my problems in another post. In the meantime here is me Then when times were good, and Now about 25 years later when life blows.

A couple of my kids have been wanting to learn to us Illustrator since they see me "playing" with it so much. They found a pic online and did most of the work vectorizing this by hand the hard way. If they are going to learn it I want them to learn it right. They are going to be handy to have around once I get them dialed in.

I have vehicles that have been in service for at least 4 years on 651. It will shrink a little and it doesn't like curves but other than that the durability has proven itself to me in the southern sun
