As with many things, bigger is definitely better with heat presses. The bigger the press, the bigger the designs you'll be able to do and the less likely you'll end up with a 9"x12" rectangular impression in the center of your shirt when you're done pressing it... Learn from our mistakes - don't buy a cheap quality, too small tool and expect to make enough to upgrade later - you'll be unhappy with your first purchase and you may stop using it before you ever earn enough to upgrade.

That shows the power of prayer and the healing power of love there is no stronger medicine in the world.

Well I have some great news for those following my family life. My mother was actually removed from ICU Monday, however just before they moved her she put a DNR on her which for those that don't know is a Do Not Resuscitate band. She hid it from my brother but showed my father and I and we both told her to remove it she has gone through the worst. She doesn't have it anymore. She was placed on dialysis which seems to be working for removing water from the blood. this has happened since last Thursday. And this morning my dad called and found she is up and walking, she got up from the bed and walked to the room door which surprised the PT people. I guess mom wants to get going and get it where she can come home. However she does want us to be there a lot still, and who can blame her its boring just laying around. However now things are slowly getting where I can get things. re-started.

A local video store is closing shop. I just scored 10 - 4'x7' 3" on center grid panel wall racks with baskets, a couple 2'x7' racks, a center island and even a step ladder. They had 20' double sided aisle shelves, but I had no use for those. And to top it off, since I do handyman work, I was asked to do the job of cleaning out the shop and dispose of whatever remains. So I may score some more stuff, or at least make my money back that I just spent. I originally thought to use these for vinyl wall racks. Maybe later use them if I ever set up at shows/fairs.

Well we were thumbing through the local paper yesterday and found this. Does not mention about the signs but both signs you see in the pic are mine. And the other sign business in town is the one that took the pictures. My signs look good a year later and some of th ones they do last less time or fall down.Wish it would have had a bit in it about the signs but at least people can see it and ask them where they got them.

I used to rent movies and the 100 lb. beta player to watch them on. Now I click and relax, no need to even leave the house.

When a local restaurant was remodeling,my brother pulled 3 sets of shelves out of the dumpster....gave me one. I looked them up...4 shelf unit (the one I got) was $600 new. Of course I was tickled to death.

You had a customer? I started with an idea nothing more and less than $600 to invest.

Mb20music answered this but I will elaborate a little. The sealit pen seals the edges of the vinyl to help edge curl, weather infilterating the edge of the vinyl. I have actualy started sealing my completed signs with frog juice to seal them and also to give them some more uv protection.

I did a quick search and it appears UScutter does not carry the pen. http://www.signwarehouse.com/p-SG1-SEAL-IT.html

Best way to get rid of pesky door to door sales guys. 1: Open door and start coughing. 2: Apologize because you just found out you have Hepatitis and don't feel well. 3: Try to shake their hand.

Instructional video made for beginners on how to vectorize an image and cut with sign blazer. Quick video, nothing fancy. I took an image off the forum and vectorized it quick. Hope this helps anyone having trouble vectorizing an image to cut. Just took a basic image that someone had posted. I didnt get fancy or do anything crazy. Just a plain outline of how to. Also posted this in vectorizing category.
