If a friend feels betrayed does that entitle them to betray the friendship they thought existed?

Placed a phone order last Tuesday (7/26/11) for grommets and was told they would be shipped that day. Was also told shipping would take about four days. So, here it is Monday (8/01/11) and no shipment. So, I call US Cutter again, 30 minutes on hold listening to the recording about how they care about their customers. Finally Benjamin answers, I explain about the order I placed. He then tells me that order is there but no payment has been made. I used a credit card the day I ordered! Ben tells me the guy that took the order must not have known how to process payment. I tell Ben my sob story of how I am now out of grommets and have jobs lined up waiting on them. My question to him was, if there was a problem why didn't anyone call me? If I had known there was a problem, I would have called back sooner but with shipping times....today should have been the day they got here. How was I to know US Cutter has a problem? So now we need to start all over again. I give Ben my order and credit card numbers again. Shortly there after Ben calls me back and tells me that the credit card isn't working and wants to know if I have another form of payment. I finally told him to just cancel everything. Jumped right onto the phone and called N. Glantz. My new grommet press and grommets are on the way, using the same credit card. Thanks you US Cutter for all your help.

Deleted post, DAK calling me a liar about me ordering alot of vinyl, said I only been cutting since Jan. of this year. There I thought he was my freind, and then he spits on me in another forum like I'm some dog I'm lost, I was just stating that I order from USC, and they deliver on time to me everytime. Then I get attacked by that Flower Girl, whats their names? Pansie? Tulip? Rosie? heheheehhe Beats me!! I'm skeered heehehehehehe But anyhow, even after the attack, I LOVE YA DAK MAN! I'll take the abuse I guess

My wife weeds it.. I'm not loosing money really i only have 2 order's a week still trying to get my name out there I use a exacto and a metal dentist pic.. i would love the SVG of that wizard lol That was good work .. The only thing i slack on is i only have a card table to work on out of my home..

well,some people think that they are the only customer USC has...instead of the hundreds that order every day. When something goes wrong, they judge the entire system on their one experience. And so it goes. If you only knew what I know...you would be amazed that they do as well as they do under the circumstances.

Funny..I place an order on average every 2 weeks with USC. In the past 2 years I have never had an order fail to ship the same day (I order before noon).To me in 2 days.Every time. Certain people just have some sort of bee in their bonnet about USC and can't get over it. I just ignore them.

a Graphtec, anyway you go. It's a perfect cut the first time.. I have the FC7000-75 and have never regretted getting the 30" My business was built with a 30" Seiki, So I wanted to stay with the larger size. I have never needed any larger. I saw the FC7000-75 on Ebay today and was going mention it to you.. I bought mine new in 2008, I have never had any problems with it. And I use it many times a day, almost everyday. Ask that guy selling the Fc7000-75 what year it is. Bought mine new in 2008. The buttons are ALL grey.. That one some buttons are purple/lavender? Must be a different year. And mine has the media basket, which sold me on the Graphtec over the Roland. It came standard on the Graphtec. FC7000-75. The cross cutting feature on the FC7000 model is great. See it on the close up of the cutter head? It has a blade on the bottom that cuts your vinyl off, when done cutting your order. Well, I am with roxy on this one and wondering if materials and time were cheaper than a 55 bucks for a signcade a-frame cause costs vary by location and time was less than thought tells me nothing. I think we are just curious if we want to try this. Nothing more or nothing less.

Cost of materials will differ depending on where you buy them. Some folks will pay more, while others will pay less depending on their location. The time it took me to produce this project might be longer than some folks out there and shorter than others. I suppose it would depend on your experience... I don't believe that I was acting like an "ass" as you so insultingly put it. Previous experience with your posts led me to believe that you would chastise me for not charging the client for my time, the materials, the tools used, the electricity used, the computer used to design it, the gas used to deliver the signs, etc... plus a hefty upcharge.

Good point & realistic !!! I have been in many situations where 2 friends fell out .. I did not take sides & let them deal with it . Many times they settled things & everybody was buddies again .. sometimes it never worked out . I always gave my advice to help settle things as I did in this matter . many PMs asking why the continued animosity . What i don't understand is how somebody can be so negative & go out of their way to trash & badmouth USCutter & still come on this forum . That is being 2 faced in my book & I can't respect that . When I have been bad mouthed because I am loyal to USCutter & say positive things . that is not appropriate IMO . 1 post that got me fired upon here , was me saying I would rather buy 4 regular blades from USCutter instead of 1 blade from a specialty company . I am sure that specialty blade is great , but i would still buy regular blades . John has cut more vinyl than I have seem & he posted a long time ago , all he has used is regular blades . I have bought about 100 + blades on e-bay at much cheaper prices & would advise anybody else wanting to save money to do the same . Now , after finding a forum that has much info about T-Shirts . I get fired on no matter what I post . USCutter had been mentioned in that thread many times by others . I added the shipping was reduced to $9 & it started again . Each time I ask to be left out of their personal crusade , but they don't stop which winds up getting posts deleted & making more work for that Administrator . That Administrator set them straight & said " do not discourage anybody from posting in that forum as it was a friendly & profession forum " ( which I agree completely with ) & also said " keep personal stuff off board " . They don't . It is a shame because both of those guys were WAY above what they have become . If I was taunting them , I would do a much better job . I don't want of that silly crap & wish they would grow up & leave things alone or at least keep me out of their personal problems with USCutter . I know they would not fair near as well as USCutter , if they held the same standard they use on USCutter on themselves . I can't imagine them dragging thier crusade for so long .
