jessehop 6 Posted March 7, 2013 Do you have a List of Parts on how to make that
louis clarke ii 202 Posted March 7, 2013 Funny you ask....... The wood and lag bolts I had already. Lowe’s 3/4” x 48” Black iron pipe about 12.38 Agri Supply Company Pillow block (PWG 1-1/16 cast) 2 each about 9.49ea Set collar 2 each about 1.89ea Washers 2 each(for ¾ pipe) about 1.25 About 37.00 bucks. Notes: leave a little play when you attach the pillow blocks, makes removing the ¾ pipe less of a hassle. I tried to get as much of the paint off the pipe as I could, makes removing and replacing the pipe less of a hassle. I also cut the threaded ends off to lessen the chances of a cut.

SignJunky 10 Posted March 10, 2013 I have always used the BS to do all of my prints. It worked great unless I had small items. Then the roll would catch on the corners of the vinyl and rip them off the backing. Also, if using the BS, the roll is constantly rubbing against the print when applying tape. After the tape is applied, in your mind, you are not sure if the roll scratched the print or not. I've never been able to use a tape roller because most of my designs are bigger than 24" and I was not able to find anything that would really support or accommodate larger rolls.....I absolutely love this new set-up!!! Now, I just lay my graphic down, pull the tape across, then use the BS to run across the tape in one motion and done. Thanks again dude for one of the best pieces of equipment in a sign shop.
