While I have No Clue Whatsoever regarding the specific software/cutter combination you mention, I do have a suggestion, see if it works --- Install the program SignBlazer. http://www.mystat.com/Signblazer.zip It contains good RedSail drivers, and just by installing the application, it might very well provide the needed "push" to get the other program VMP to talk with the machine properly. Worth a shot, costs nothing.

I have seen the entire sign (post AND panel, with full-color graphics) offered online for less than my discounted cost for just the post from my wholesale sign supply warehouse. Hi. Two years ago, I bought the basic MH unit and opened my own sign store with it. Just yesterday, two clients came in with jobs ---- and I pocketed $560 cash. I tell you this, because at some point, you might want to switch from just "having a blast" to "having a bigger bank account" I don't do graphics. I only deal with Instant computer-cut lettering. My clients have something to say on their signs, in plain English. "Spaghetti Dinner" (Church) "Marble & Granite" (quarry) "MEGA Yard Sale" (private yard sale) "Mobile Grooming" (dog washing) "Hogs" (farm) "Tag & Title" (office) etc etc etc.

And who says that size doesn't matter? !!!!!!

Funny stuff -- thanks for the laughs!!! The "Jet Fuel Only" decal gives me some inspiration to try and make it look like an Air Force jet, with approriate markings.

The Draw -- Library (Symbols -- General ) contains a pencil stub (SIGNBLAZER) With a little ingenuity, it's possible to add length to it.

Can I make a request? I have an ASTRO van, and cannot for the life of me figure out what graphics would look good on it. Would you, Todd (or anyone who wants to take a crack at it) provide a mockup image of what you would like to see on this van? I probably should have started a new thread for this, and I apologize in advance about hijacking this one.

Let me weigh in here -- First of all, the amount of money being discussed seems relatively miniscule, and as a matter of principle, if I were in your shoes, I would simply say that I'll DONATE $120 in advance to ABATE ($10 a month) and then make it known that I'll informally keep track of the proceeds from the decals over the coming year, and if it turns out that I've profited more than $1000, then I will just make up the difference in the coming year, while continuing the arrangement of making decals as needed.

Weird, the national ABATE logo is not being utilized as-is for all chapters. They all have their own thing going on, some with variations of the national logo, some with completely different graphics.

Why is the large one done with a different font?

The design of the flag itself is NOT copyrighted (the pattern) Certain images that utilize the flag design can be copyrighted. (for example, a graphic of a waving flag)
