I was asked by a regular customer to put something like this together, and now that it's done I feel like it should be shared with the community. It was trickier than I thought it was going to be but I'm mostly happy with the way it turned out. Still need to actually cut it and layer it - that will be the fun part! EPS is the defacto standard for most vector programs. I found this website that will convert many graphics formats for free with nothing to install. I just used it to convert a random .EPS file into an .SVG file. If you find something that you can't import, then if you ask nicely, someone from these forums will usually convert it for you.

Thanks Dakotagrafix, This is a hard one, I've even contacted Curtis and they don't have a sample. They did however give me permission to duplicate the logo. It's for an old air compressor that's getting restored from 1948.

I figured if I was going to keep cutting and selling stuff, I may as well come up with a name and a logo. I've thought about calling it 2 Mile High Decals, But was sure. Finally decided on High Altitude Decals! Sat down today and after looking over google for ideas I came up with this for a logo. I've since put a number on it, but may need to adjust it a bit. Over all I'm pleased with the outcome. What do you guys think?

I am a Newbie here.... Have not EVER felt like ANYBODY here EVER talked down to me.... To put this in perspective.... I have NEVER had a cutter before.... I lurked here a ton before posting here. I initially bought a cheap USED cutter. It came with NO instructions. ALL of my questions have been answered with care and concern. Thanks to all of you, who have assisted me unselfishly with your time, knowledge, and tons of experience.

Thanks everyone! Here it is on his truck- He's already gotten quite a few compliments on it. His Dad asked for one for his truck as well, but he lives up in Manistee and mostly fishes for Salmon or Steelhead, so I need to change the fish for him.

Last year My wife and I bought a used Cougar 5th wheel - the tire cover on the back was first painted in a paint shop - next owner painted it with a paint brush, put mask down, cut it with a razor blade, painted more with his paint brush then let it weather in the sun for years. it had a crack I fixed with JB Weld, kinda knocked down the brush strokes, brush hairs, dirt and top paint with a light sanding before painting with rustoleum rattle can - still not pretty but better. Tonight I added a little graphic to it that hides a lot of the stuff. learned a little more about wrapping a compound curve (small one) and will call it good enough. Picture of front of camper was last years addition and stacey wants her window blocked out so I need to add her side graphic on the window yet

Here are a couple of pieces I just finished. A 19"x41" glass panel for a door and a small stone I did for the wife to use as a paper weight
