Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted February 3, 2016 Like one of the comments said: 5 years for selling counterfeit goods, but poison a whole city and get nothing.... umm that is our Ricktator - we the citizens of Michigan voted down the emergency manager bill and the International trade bridge - just to have the legislature pass them 6 weeks later on a midnight december 31 session before some members left congress - don't even get me going on that one my feelings are if you override the elected officials, taking the decision power away from them, and place your own person in the position to make all the decisions = you then own the outcome of those decisions. he has hired a pr firm with corporate donations to help with this and has been spinning the truth. he said the flint counsel made the decision to go off the detroit water - which is true as they voted to go to a new water line to lake huron. The part he leaves off is they were going to stay on the detroit water until the line was finished and the emergency manager decided to go to the flint river for water till it was finished - the flint river also known as the gm sewer by locals. they was warned almost immediately by a local pediatrician that the lead levels in children was rising quickly and chose to spin it for over a year before taking action. I used to be a firm believer that a business man should runt he country or state - he cured that over the past term and a half. first thing he did was eliminate the corporate business tax and tax the retired peoples pension to pay for that - and that has set the tone since then.
