Recommended Posts

Can anybody PLEASE tell me the NORMAL size of the numbers used on uniform Jerseys? If it matters, Girls softball jerseys! I need this info ASAP, because we are supposed to be putting these out Thursday!

Thanks for any help!!!

somewhat depends on th size of the jerzy - the size on a small would look funny on a xxl

Well, thanks Dakotagrafx, but as it works out, it don't seem as if I have enough sense to even cut the numbers, OF ANY size! I actually believed that if I cut the black (background) one size the white (foreground) would simply be the same font, but just sized smaller! Is it actually possible  for me to have been any more wrong? No, I don't think so! Back to the drawin board!!!

STAHLSSID.COM has a chart for them. It's named heat printing tips.

also, if I read right.... for background on numbers, you not actually using 2 different sizes are you?  You can just "outline" the original number

When we need an outline we use the font Indiana. Works well for me.

That's what I was thinking, paperman, that's what it sounds like he/she was doing... I've tried that though, I'll admit it.  And yeah, totally does NOT work that way.  LOL

Hey, thanx everyone! I FINALLY figured out that if I were to outline it would probably work! Also, I am going to try the links shared! So, without farther ado, I'm off to see what I can find! Everyone have a Blessed day!
