What is your problem with weeding?  Give some more info..  I do believe you can apply weed, lines in Scalp.

Personally, I do not use weed lines for large graphics.ever.  and I do some 12ft long... And you don't state what cutter you are using, but you had better have one with perfect tracking, if your going to do weed lines on large graphics. Because they may cut right into your design , if the tracking is not good. Weed lines also use up a lot more memory from your cutter.  Weed lines are in SCALP someplace.  I don't use it.   There are tutorials...Or hopefully someone chimes in.

I have an MH 871 and use SCALP. I guess for a real large item I wouldn't se it but I'm talking a 30 inch graphic. I would rather weed each letter.

Just wondering where the weed settings are in scalp.....

For small stuff I only use the weed box around it when doing multiple decals at once. Ive used them on the windshield 3' decals with success as well. I recommend staying away form the inside lines like Mz Skeeter said if you have a budget cutter

yeah like stated if you use weed lines and the tracking is off every so slightly then itll knick the image itself which is no good, i would just use your xacto to cut some lines around what you wanna weed thats what i do and its tedious but is probably the best solution.

I usually just use the shape tool and add a box around what I'm cutting.  Works pretty well, haven't had any problems.
