    Fusion....last call

Did you get it?? I havent looked back since I got it, however I still want to get all the platens for it.
  2. Yup like Mz Skeeter said nothing is set in stone, companies have suggestion speeds. I know if you log onto Stahls/ Cad cut they have an instruction section in every vinyl page.

    Your leasing questions answered

Sometime people just dont have other ways to get the equipment they need either so the high Lease is the only option.

Anybody heat pressing with custom transfers?

I have ordered transfers from them pretty much cars, bikers, animal and humor it's a touchy market you have to find the niche that works around where you live.
  5. Dont most cutter have lines you can use for lining up? I know on my old MH series had a ruler in the front, and on the Graphtec it has vertical lines to line up the vinyl. But this is also a free and great idea from IKEA lol

    sublimation metal signs

Do you have a spare sign? Do you have rubbing alcohol or even Hydrogen peroxide? If you do take a piece of paper toweling wet it with the Alcohol, or Peroxide and wipe down the printing area and let it dry. They may have residue or even fibers that are collecting the ink or not accepting it as well. I know they use to come with a plastic covering to avoid scratches see if it has that.

Anybody heat pressing with custom transfers?

Solvent printer = 15K plus in money I think what the original poster is asking is about Inkjet transfers? I have used Jetpro Soft Stretch Inkjet Transfers and for dark shirts 3G Opaque however the 3G is more like a stiff vinyl kind of like old tshirt transfers from the 70's / 80's. They are also not as durable as custom plastisol transfers and either chip or crack faster. Jetpro fades quicker also. I feel Laser t-shirt transfers are more durable than inkjet ones, As for the printers Any Epson prints about the same specially with their Precision Core Technology. I never had or used any of the printers you have listed however I have had many Epsons. Currently using an Epson WF-7510 for inkjet transfers / everyday printing, and a WF-7110 for Sublimation printing. Both work well and rarely clog due to the maintenance I prefer such as head cleanings and usually print something every couple of days. CISS vs Cartridge there is a major bonus with going to a CISS system instead if using just cartridges, Epson Ink cartridges are expensive. all the time usually $60 or more for a full set. When you get a CISS system you pay the initial price which is about what $120 and in the $120 you get the hardware for the CISS, and ink which would total about 3 to 4 refills of a cartridge. You also dont have to keep taking cartridges in and out plus you can tell when your running out of ink so you can replace it right away. One thing I have learned before printing is tell the printer I want to do a cartridge replacement, and press the reset switch on the ciss cartridges that way I dont mess up a print..
  8. I guess the person in shipment thought this was a good idea i would call and let them know people are doing this.

    Weeding question

Being as it's an event shirt and basically a couple of wear and done why not some jet pro soft stretch inkjet transfer paper or even laser transfer paper ?

    sublimation printer

I will always stick with Epson for anything but laser printers. I will admit my WF7110 had a nasty clog but that was fixed with 2 head cleanings and my pigment ink printer clogs but again 2 head cleanings and works and that wasn't used for a month. My dads WF 7510 not used since before thanksgiving got new ink printpayless head cleaner half bottle bam works perfect.

    Guess what these are !

No license and the right to sell a product with official NFL logos. I know she purchased the material however I believe all NFL trademarks only transfer to the company which can make the material they can sell to customers but I don't think the fabric customers can resell the item without written consent from the NFL. Now don't quote me on that I read it once and going from memory.

    sublimation metal signs

It could be the ink also, with some printers they deposit more ink in certain area. I never had issues with Sign Chicken.

    Poly-Twill

Alright I for some reason bought Poly Twill through Stahls thinking with the word Poly in the name I should be able to sublimate it. Am I right on my thinking or wrong as usual?

    Poly-Twill

I actually used a lighter and lightly went and sealed off the strands it seemed to work and Stahls carries a lot of different twill I didn't know what I was ordering till I got it. I should really learn not to order at 12am. Its the same stuff conde sells as patches. This was a test to see how it worked. I'm looking at personal embroider machines just to offer certain smaller things. So heres the test photo.

Which of the 3 cutters? Titan 2, 3 or Graphtec

Graphtec got one last year and never looked back.
  17. MadHatterGraphix

    You guys buy clipart?

I would say its about 50/50 for me. Sometimes its just easier and cheaper for me to buy a graphic, and put that into the cost of the customer.

Do you have any other cutting software installed? I tried vinyl master and found out my MC3 wouldn't recognize the cutter afterwards after I uninstalled VM MC3 recognized it.
