I like your quote Charger and thank you for your service. Have you placed any decals on anything else? With vehicles I would recommend using cast vinyl such as Oracal 751. It will hold up better. Be sure to clean your tailgate very thoroughly including as a last step an alcohol wipe down. It should be squeaky clean literally. When you search for youtube help look for hinge methods. I would go with a top or side hinge depending on curvature of your gate. With simple lettering like that I would not bother with trying to do it wet. Best par is if you mess it up it's your own rig so you can just try again. Good practice.

I am planning on adding a decal on my tailgate of my truck, I need help on how to apply the decal to the tail gate. This is what I am going to add to my tail gate and have 2 EGA on both sides of it. " I AM A VETERAN. MY OATH OF ENLISTMENT HAS NO EXPIRATION DATE."

I agree---- Nice personal review of the cutter. Seems- like a nice machine for the price... I laughed out loud when he said: "Step Away from the Stepper Motor"...good one.

AI is not the program of choice AI is the program of choice for some Wild you make it sound like everyone uses it. lol I do not I prefer CDraw its slightly cheaper and I'm more fluent in it than AI and I have CS3 I believe and I loaded it once and went back to CDraw. Scalpro is alright I have used it for cut in print but lets be fair I didn't have a larger ARMS cutter I was using a Silhouette which was great for what it did and MH series which I spent days and weeks perfecting got jobs to pay for its self and just decided to upgrade last month to the Graphtec CE6000-60 and never looked back. I just saw a review on the titan3 and it sounds great (silent) and it did a great job.

As mentioned (I especially like the zen comment but am out of likes for the day) You will be better for having learned the finite ins and outs of setting up a cutter. This is something that those who jump right into a graphtec or other high end cutter may never fully understand (or appreciate). Higher end servo machines are enough better that you can actually get away with being a little off and never even notice but a budget cutter needs tuning. I ran a P-Cut (similar to the SC) for several years and although I would not go back it got the job done and I learned a LOT. Even those of us with high end cutters avoid tiny text if at all possible. It's not fun for anyone. If you plan to do a lot of tiny stuff then you may want to spend a little more money, If it's just one here and there it can be done and you may in fact have to cut several to get one that comes out. Really big and really small are the true test of a good cutter.

just ran across the one from michigan that I mentioned earlier - considering the qty I think he got a pretty good deal http://www.mlive.com/news/grand-rapids/index.ssf/2014/02/store_owner_sentenced_for_sell.html and this one for a more obscure example http://www.clickondetroit.com/sports/datsyuk-merchandise-lawsuit-heads-to-court-thursday/21568454 just examples for future readers, even though the items are no longer for sale and the companies closed the suits continue to be litigated - in the digital age nothing is erased for good. in both examples the person with the items got the first suit then they go after the person that produced the products even after they have been removed from the marketplace, the first infraction happens at the time of manufacture and doesn't disappear. everyone chooses their own risk they are willing to take

The thing about these old posts is at least you know someone is using the search function.
