Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted April 29, 2014 for those that might not know anyone from the upper peninsula calls anyone from the lower peninsula a troll because we live "under" the bridge and generally the south (under side) is where the tolls are paid.she is one of the few bridges I know of that shuts down for wind or sometimes you must be escorted across due to weather (I guess so they can say the exact time you took flight over the railing :\ My mother and stepfather got to stand on the top of the south tower when my stepfater retired - if I would have had a clue I would have called in sick (taking whatever punishment I had coming) just to go with them that day - gorgeous pictures from up there. Staceys comment on the bridge is OH HELL NO I am not going across that thing agian - never in my life, we can drive around thru wisconsin even if it takes days longer . . . .I am working on getting her up there again if I have to tranquilize her and don't think I haven't been taking notes from Dexter! 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
