jdthedj10 2 Posted February 14, 2015 How do I set up SB to return to the exact spot to recut the same exact job again? For instance if I am cutting HTV and I want to cut it twice to make sure it cuts fully.
MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted February 14, 2015 That is something in the software..as in run 2 passes... then it will do both passes. 1 after the other.. I don't use Signblazer, but take a look..in your cutting features.
slice&dice 2,450 Posted February 14, 2015 I don't see such a 2-pass option in SignBlazer. However, you can do this ---- set your Duplicate adjustments (Horizontal & Vertical) to '0' and when you make a dupe of the design, change the color to something else, and in the cutter screen, select both colors. That should cause a double-pass to happen.
pshawny 410 Posted February 14, 2015 There should be no need to double cut HTV. You could just make two copies of the design and center them vertically and horizontally. The cutter would then make two passes.
jdthedj10 2 Posted February 14, 2015 Thanks all, I will give it a shot.
jdthedj10 2 Posted February 14, 2015 Slice, where do I find "Duplicate adjustments" at?
jaybyrd 3,770 Posted February 14, 2015 Never had to double cut htv and I've done tons of it. Got me curious now.
jdthedj10 2 Posted February 14, 2015 Sometimes the Siser Glitter just doesn't cut fully for me and I was looking for a way to make another pass just to be sure.
jaybyrd 3,770 Posted February 14, 2015 Oh now I understand unfortunately I haven't used sb in years so I can't be of much help other than to say more blade and lots more pressure.
Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted February 14, 2015 and that is why we use clean cut blades . . . . one and done have never cut anything twice
slice&dice 2,450 Posted February 14, 2015 Slice, where do I find "Duplicate adjustments" at? In the lower right-hand corner, there are several different settings for x-y movements, such as Nudge, Duplicate, Grid, Guides (snap-to). There is also a Settings menu which has Preferences to adjust those same movements.

mr300s 1,272 Posted February 14, 2015 Maybe after you cut it and you have the program set to return to original position you could just not move anything and hit the cut button again, but like everyone said you should never have to cut anything twice. Something is wrong either the tip of the blade might be broke (Use a magnifying Glass) to look at the blade or the pressure or blade depth isn't correct, or your cutting strip has issues ... pshawny 410 Posted February 14, 2015 The Siser glitter is tougher to cut. I would use a dedicated blade and holder just for that. Extend the blade further than normal and increase the pressure.
