tweetlbug 0 Posted July 2, 2012 My first cut will be perfect, if I adjust the origin and click send again, it goes off cutting into never never land, up and to the right. If I hit the reset button then it works fine. Not that I detest one extra step that much, but it took me a while to figure out what it was that was causing the problem and I was curious if there was any way to resolve this? Dr12volt1338 116 Posted July 2, 2012 I am not sure but I think I have read that with that machine you have to reset or bring the head back to home before every cut....
tgbvinyl 7 Posted July 7, 2012 I had this issue, well a similar issue, are you using the serial cable or USB?
tweetlbug 0 Posted July 8, 2012 USB, no serial port on any of my PCs.
MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted July 8, 2012 a keyspan adapter will work great on computers with no serial ports, Then connect you serial cable to it and your cutter. much better than USB connection. I just grabbed an ad from EBAY, but these can be purchased other places, even USCUTTER sells them, go for the best price. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Keyspan-High-Speed-USB-Serial-Adapter-USA-19HS-/120420154018?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c0999baa2
tweetlbug 0 Posted July 9, 2012 Thanks, I was wondering if the serial would be more stable... I guess that answers that!
