smallTIMER 21 Posted June 1, 2012 Hey All, I just did the stripes on my Mustang a few days ago and wanted to show you all the work I was able to find someone to sell me the EPS file for the full stripe kit (wasn't cheap though, wouldve been cheaper to buy stripes) Heres the outcome!

smallTIMER 21 Posted June 2, 2012 Thanks, Used 3M ControlTac material. The stuff is super thin but it gets the job done.

VinylDave 11 Posted June 2, 2012 Looks great, I've been wanting to do stripes for a car. Your lines seem perfect. Even if it cost you more, it'll be well worth it as far as advertising goes.

smallTIMER 21 Posted June 2, 2012 I found a seller who sold me a bunch of full kits as well as a bunch of other vehicle type decals. PM me exactly what you are looking for and I will see if I have it.
Coaster36 327 Posted June 2, 2012 If you have a dodge ram hood one I would love to have a copy. Now that you bought the EPS do you think its needed? Or can you just cut the design and then lay them yourself? Im not sure what the EPS gets you.
C Lewis 6 Posted June 2, 2012 I would of Just Layed out the File myself. Why pay out the arse for a couple stripes?. Its very easy to get measurments. Just my 2c Looks good though
Coaster36 327 Posted June 3, 2012 Thats what im wondering Cori. Im not sure what the point of buying the file?
smallTIMER 21 Posted June 3, 2012 I definitely prefer the ready to go eps for a few reasons: It includes cutouts for the lights and license plates If someone wanted to purchase a stripe kit from me, I would have a set for their car ready to go Less wasted vinyl Granted I paid a good amount for it, It can easily make its money back just by me selling the ready to go stripe kits on ebay
