Some are outgoing , some are dramatic over any little thing , some think the universe revolves around them & their issues , some are on a mission for personal reasons & after that , they move on . Some settle in , enjoy the place & stay active for years . It seems dealing with the negative members & the members who ask the most redundant questions without at least trying to find the answer by searching , gets old for everybody at times , or they get busy , take a vacation etc . I don't think posting work has much effect on most people . many nice things . The best thing i seen posted was BannerJohn's ( John ) decal . Made with cut vinyl & was extremely colorfull , original etc . He had been talking about buying a printer & I had to look to see if he had. I have noticed the printers are getting cheaper & cheaper . I waited a long time before I finally moved & bought a vinyl cutter ... a printer may be in my future . BannerJohn 1,324 Posted March 6, 2012 It comes and goes...but you are correct there is another forum which I won't mention here.Many of our old regulars abandoned us for them. Of course they have no connection to US Cutter and nobody from USC reads it. Info on the newer line of US Cutters is better here. On the other hand, it could be that Support at USC is so good now that not as many people need the forums for help. I can tell you one thing...it would indeed be busy here if I didn't flag or ban dozens of spammers a day,and delete a huge amount of posts. But this forum isn't about Movies,Porn,Pirated Software,etc. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery,they say...but in the end,that's all it is...an imitation. slice&dice 2,450 Posted March 6, 2012 Speaking for myself, it's just a matter of being really busy and not having a chance to sit down and meander online. For some reason, since March 1, the sign orders have poured in. I'm running a one-man studio, and that means juggling all the tasks, from meet & greet at the front counter for walk-ins, to answering phones, to designing jobs, cutting, weeding, taping, dropping, as well as preparing substrates to the needed sizes (slicing & dicing ---- dibond, magnets, coro, sintra, poly, MDO, and even some sheets of 0.40 aluminum). Yes, I should take a few job-finished photos, and post them here. Thanks for the 'nudge' to do that, and I hope others take up this challenge, too. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Unfortunately this isn't a full time gig for me and to be honest, I think i'd like to keep it that way.
