knock out background

WHITE SQUARES AROUND IT AND AIRBRUSH THE EDGE! Baaad way to do it but I havent played around with Photoshop hardly at all. Mostly Illy and Corel Draw.

I need to learn so I can do it myself later! waaaaay old school!

Most software has a lasso tool where you can trace the outside of an object til it closes then cut and paste into a new drawing.

Tried the lasso but not completely working the that Jf said..I am curious if I missed something from the post and would like to know if it's that easy..Just select and delete..My select tool doesn't work that easy, I am sure I am not doing something right as usual..LOL..

There is nice plugin for photoshop called "Mask Pro 4.1"

I use the pen tool in PS with great results.

If you use the polygon lasso instead of the magnetic one you an click individual points to follow the path. It takes longer but you have more control over where it traces the outline.
