knock out background

Recommended Posts

I have a potential customer wanting this car in a graphic. I was wondering if someone would be willing to remove the background for me and leave just the car. Thanks in advance!

Hey there J

Can you teach me to fish on this one?

What did you use to remove the background?

I do it the hard way and it looks like crap every time.

thanks in advance

Could you define "the hard way"? Drop me a PM and I'll walk you through it in Photoshop...

I tried magnetic lasso and I made a beautiful Chevelle Porcupine.lol

a lot harder than it looks.

What did the background look like. I think a lot has to do with how clean the background is.

I haddn't thought of that. Really busy background on that one I played with.

If you use the polygon lasso instead of the magnetic one you an click individual points to follow the path. It takes longer but you have more control over where it traces the outline.
