Winter Season is here

Recommended Posts

I know winter is here as I sit in the dark today.  I'm outside of the city limits and as soon as winter hits we have our weekly power outages.  Good thing for a laptop with a battery.

Man, that is SWEET!  I miss the snow so much!  I was born and raised in PA, but live in FL now.  Of course, it's white here too...FOG!!!

The company I work for has a office in Rochester, MN and this is what they had this morning.

Today we are having wind gust of 60mph with sustained winds of 30mph.

I'm from Minnesota too, not quite as much snow here (near St. Cloud) as it was in rochester, though the wind is just as bad.

I love snow, (only cause I snowboard, about every day) other than that, can't stand this weather, or the way everyone seems to magically forget how to drive when it snows a bit, hopefully everyones inside and staying warm, this weekend I work (as a lifty operater at a resort) that is not going to be fun!

Snow?  I've never heard of it either.  :)

It is beautiful....... but I would freeze, with my thin blood.

15 degrees this morning, a bit too cold for the beer.

I see you are concerned with the temperature and not the time of day. LOL  :) :)

It's 5 o'clock somewhere.

Wow, check out that picture ;D

I love the beauty of the snow, but we never seem to get it; maybe once every 5 years.  Hoping this is one of those years, we usually just get yucky ice and don't have the DOT resources to keep the roads safe:/

You in TN or AL Tasly?

I have family in Northern Alabama and as soon as a dusting of snow comes they close school and the stores sell out of the usual stuff

My deck this morning...I cleared two days ago.  Had to make a path for my Boston Terrier.  Fort Richardson Alaska... and still snowing!

You can have ours 12 inches on the ground and snowing a inch an hour as i type.

We got our first snow this morning.  I think if I get a micrometer I can measure how much we got.  The roads were a little slick but other than that...nothing to brag about.
