Titan & Titan 2 Parts
Dakotagrafx replied to busterbay's topic in Table TITAN Series Vinyl Cutter Discussions
good to know in the future - thanks for posting -
Sounds a lot like you are still thinking in terms of raster graphics and not in the terms of vector graphics the plotter uses. Conversion programs don’t work well with vector graphics that require tracing to make them readable with arcs and nodes instead of pixels. Vinyl master is a solid choice, I had several ce5000’s and they work with many softwares made for plotters

Roland BN 20 Emssably Cap

How is the nozzle check after that? -
no idea here but I would be skeptical that gel ink would work in an hp - heck not sure the epson ink would work because I think hp uses heat to burst the ink out of the head I read a long time ago and the reason that hp's aren't used for for sublimation. I know nothing for certain and didn't stay at a holiday inn express last night :/

nothing wrong with graphtec - sounds like a dealer issue and hope it is a legitimate dealer or warranty might not be in effect -
Roland BN 20 Emssably Cap
Dakotagrafx replied to henry castillo's topic in Roland Printer Discussion
No idea on that model but if it hasn’t been doing it’s cleaning every 4-6 hrs every day since Friday I would be worried about that head being clogged. If I remember right that particular head is around $2400. -

Buy a Roland sp300i , and laminate will be optional, if you decide to laminate get a daige cold laminate unit but for bumper stickers I wouldn’t even laminate using the Roland Orem inks. Then it is print and contour cut all at once -
Graphtec Studio Print Quality
Dakotagrafx replied to harrywood1995's topic in Other Software Programs
Not sure but gs is not the same as the gps as the gps is actually rebranded as flexi pro without the rip function and I know from experience the gsp prints great . Not sure who make the cheaper gs version -

Production manager doesn't want to RIP - Stuck on "Loading..." after sending [SOLVED]
Dakotagrafx replied to tsroadsigns's topic in Flexi
I would contact SAI directly for support on this once I verified that production manager has not changed the action to hold - they have great support - I haven't used flexi rip in 10 years because I was using versaworks during that time -
you can't bake off the ink - in my experience it has been better to trash the messed up one and move on with new.

CE7000 Curves not cutting properly - choppy
Dakotagrafx replied to NTBVinyls's topic in GraphTec Cutting Plotter Support Requests
just make sure it turns freely in both the top and in the blue part - the tenting is an issue and may have something to do with your problem as the vinyl isn't staying flat on the cut strip - any gap would cause it to not have clean cuts -

CE3000-60 mk2 help
Dakotagrafx replied to Rebel2256's topic in GraphTec Cutting Plotter Support Requests
great plotter and well worth getting a dedicated computer just for that plotter - I have owned several of them but not since I had windows 10. the above suggestions are right on point but just for kicks I would try the ce5000 drivers also as the ce series I have noticed work with the same drivers up until after the ce6000 series - in my experience - if that doesn't work a cheap older computer works great to solve the issue - congrats on the great acquisition -
CE7000 Curves not cutting properly - choppy
Dakotagrafx replied to NTBVinyls's topic in GraphTec Cutting Plotter Support Requests
I am tending to believe the blade is not turning freely - I had one new one that had a cracked blue cap. also does the material tent up when moving forward and backward on your ce7000 ? -

weird - in your cutting software is the cut all colors selected? if you look at it in wireframe do the letters appear?
-
was this typed or did you trace it where those letters might be a slightly different shade of color and missed - or is there a slight mark on the vinyl?
