Finally, fixed my problem and got a clean cut. The solution was to just buy another SC2. Thank you all for your help, I do appreciate your time and efforts!

moving slow today so not sure how far I will get as I wanted to have both plotters upstairs for the side by side - before I take the ce7000 down to the work area. first impression physically the ce7000 is 2" taller and 4" wider. the roll holding tubes have gone from 1/2" stainless steel tubes to 5/8 stainless tubes. the stands are almost identical size but the 7000 has extra holes in the feet that I am assuming are for the take up reels when used on the bigger machines or specialty machines. the brackets that hold the plotter on the stand have a few extra holes I will have to explore later. Gone is the wide serial cable port and newly added is the lan connection along with a place to plug a thumb drive directly into the ce7000 the tray slot that I used to hold a specialty 4 place blade holder is gone and graphtec has added a small tool area of it's own. I will have to explore that more as the ones the member here 3d printed ensured the tips never hit the bottom of the tray - the new ce7000 does appear to have little circles that might provide the same protection but I will be convinced after I can use it a few times and don't break any tims as I change blade holders very regularly depending on the vinyl I am cutting we are in the midst of a week without a bed as we prepped our bedroom for carpet and new bed so kinda out of it and moving slow - new bed coming thursday is as exciting as a vacation after the past week will add more updates later.

Finally got to my cut computer and found the settings you were changing. Never new that was there. ha! And FYI, it does work as you would expect it to with my MH cutter. I'll probably never use it, as like most others I'm in the habit of setting the origin at the machine although I do wonder now why it doesn't work as expected with the Prismcut.

Spoke with Karl (President of US Cutter) and he was great. Sending me a replacement part and hooking me up with talk time with Support to provide guidance regarding how to pull and replace this portion of the unit.

for testing it doesn't matter - but when you do it a cast with air release will make it easier - if it will stay stuck on

Many of us have Graphtecs, they don't have rulers and NEVER needed it. I don't line up to anything. Measure your wheels equally to the edge of the vinyl and your tracking should be fine, as long you start your vinyl straight. I just measure about an 1.5 inches in. You should NEVER be pulling from a vinyl roll while cutting. You should always have enough vinyl slack behind the cutter to do the entire order. Prefeed your vinyl for the order. I have a 30" Graphtec, they only come with 2 pinch rollers, can't imagine having 4 pinch rollers. There is no need. 2 Pinch rollers, track perfect. ( Maybe try only using 2 pinch rollers, instead of all of them) Graphtecs have separated grit rollers. I don't need to add anything to know where they are. There are markings above on the carriage rail track.. Prisimcut states it has arrows. (Position pinch roller under arrows.) Vinyl does not lift up or blade does not scratch the vinyl. Maybe? You have the blade too far exposed out of the blade holder. There is incorrect instructions out there, with setting blade depth with a credit card or post it notes. These are WRONG and way too much blade exposed. This is the correct way to set your blade depth correctly. To start with, you should set your blade depth correctly, by taking the blade holder out of the machine, and firmly cut across a piece of scrap vinyl, you will be cutting. You should only be cutting the vinyl and barely a mark on wax paper backing, Adjust blade to get there, Then put the blade holder back in machine, and use the force of the machine to get there, same results, only cutting the vinyl and barely a mark in wax paper backing. You should just barely see and feel your blade tip out of the blade holder.
