geneb 0 Posted April 17 (reposting after logging in ) I've recently purchased an MH200 cutter and got VinylMaster PRO installed. When trying to pick the driver in the software, "MHCUTTER" isn't listed, but "USCutter" is: However, as you can see in the screen shot above, the MH200 isn't listed. I've gone through all the other vendor choices and the MH series isn't present at all. The version of V5 I have installed is 202201.01. Any suggestions on how I can resolve this? The various FAQs I've found on the software don't cover this, but the MH200 driver is clearly listed in the training material, so I'm at a loss as to why it's not listed. tnx! g. haumana 1,228 Posted April 17 Thank you for registering. Have you tried to select any of the MH cutters on the list and sent a test job to the cutter? (by adding new machine drivers to their program) Honestly, I would venture a guess that the regular MH drivers will work on these updated units. This version of Vinyl Master is made for the MH200 series, plus the other NEW MH series that is made now. STEP 2: Using your favorite browser, go to mhcutter.com STEP 3: Create an account at mhcutter.com and go to the download page. STEP 4: Enter your machine serial number (MSN) to download the correct software. STEP 5: Follow the installation instructions in the software installer program. You can watch a video that covers the entire registration, download & activation process. It does show the correct driver in the list at mhcutter.com VinylMaster software. geneb 0 Posted April 23 A few things... 1. The forum isn't alerting me to replies, so that's why I'm late in responding. 2. The software doesn't have "MHCutter" listed as a vendor category, only "USCutter" (among other vendors). 3. The product key sheet for Vinyl Master Pro (purchased at the same time I ordered the MH200) points users to https://www.uscutter.com/download. If customers are supposed to actually be going to mhcutter.com, then the instructions should reflect that. I'll try the mhcutter.com version and see how that goes. It had better go...well. tnx. g. MZ SKEETER 4,720 Posted April 24 Your MH200 vinyl cutter user manual did tell you which software to use. Is it possible that replies went to your junk folder? You could have contacted UScutter, by a ticket or calling them. These are fairly new vinyl cutters. I have never seen or heard of anyone purchasing it, or anyone asking questions about one. There is only a handful of people that answer questions here and we are volunteers. Not employees of USCUTTER. UScutter techs rarely come on the forum except to maybe advertise. This is pretty much a user to user forum. The information that I gave you came directly from the the UScutter Support page for ALL vinyl cutters that UScutter sells, I had to research everything and look it up, just like you would. The vinyl cutter USER MANUALS, are telling you which cutting software to use. The regular MH Refine cutter goes by the size of the cutter as the name like MH 721 871, etc series, it is a totally different vinyl cutter and much cheaper, than the MH200 It is a rebranded Refine MH series vinyl cutter. You are even showing above that the older MH (legacy) cutter is listed in your screen shot above. MH is NOT a vendor. It's a model name. Every value vinyl cutter that UScutter sells is a rebranded product, except for Graphtec, Roland and Mimaki. I have no idea who is making the NEW series of MH 100, 200, and 300.
